The head quarters of Amrita vishwa vidyapeetham are at Ettimadai, Coimbatore.

The college campus is in the neighborhood of international headquarters of Mata Amritanandamayi Math and is distinguished by the backwaters linking Alapuzha and kollam.

The course include both degree and diploma courses.

Undergraduate courses include B-tech in (EC, IT, CS, EE, ME), B.Sc. Computer science, B. Com, BBM, B.Sc. Biotechnology, B.Sc. Microbiology and BAMs. These courses require a minimum of 60% marks in the high school examinations.

The Post-Graduate Courses are M.Tech VLSI, M.Sc. Chemistry, M.Sc. Physics, M.Sc. Mathematics, M.Sc. Computer Science, MCA, M.Sc. Biotechnology, M.Sc. Bioinformatics, MBA and Master of Social Work. These courses require a minimum of 60% marks in the Bachelors degree or course done.

The students have to fill a form for taking the examination to get admitted here. The examination centers include Amritapur (kollam), Bengaluru (Bangalore), Ettimadai (Coimbatore), Kozhikode (Calikut). The Students can download the application form from the website and can send it along with the demand draft of Rs. 600/- or the candidates may collect the hard copies of the application form from the university campus or the candidates can receive the application form by post by sending a written request to the university along with the Demand Draft in the favor of “Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham” payable at Kollam.
