In India, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University is a University which was established very recently. The university is situated in Lucknow. The main objective of the university is to make available research and instructional facilities to support advanced knowledge.

It aims to offer integrated courses in the main areas of science and technology. All the courses are offered by the university at post graduate level only. The admission process to these post graduation courses are done on the basis of the entrance exam conducted by the university.

Structure of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University M.Sc Entrance Exam

There will be two sections for Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University M.Sc Entrance exam. Section 1 consists of 50 questions of objective nature and Section 2 includes 10 questions of descriptive type. Each question in the first section carries 1 mark and that in the second section carries 5 marks. The students have to complete the entrance test within1 hour 30 minutes.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who have done graduation in Biology or Agriculture from a recognized university are eligible to apply for M.Sc in Horticulture. Also, the applicants from the open category have to score around 50% marks in degree. For SC/ST/PH candidates, the least marks required are 40%.

How to Apply?

The candidates can procure the application form along with the prospectus from the Admission Cell, BB Ambedkar University, Vidya Vihar Campus, Rae Bareli Road, Lucknow-226025. The applicants from open category are required to pay an amount of Rs. 300/-. The SC/ST/PH candidates are needed to pay only Rs. 300/- for the form. The application form is also obtained through post. For this, the candidates have to remit a crossed Demand Draft of Rs. 50/-. The DD has to be taken in favor of Finance Officer, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University. The candidates have to submit the DD payable at Lucknow with a self addressed stamped envelope enclosed along with it. The application form can also be downloaded from the official website like www.indiaresults.com or www.bbauindia.org. After completing the form duly, the applicant has to send it to Admission Cell, BB Ambedkar University Vidya Vihar Campus, Rae Bareli Road, Lucknow-226025. The filled form should reach the address on or before the last date.

• Go through the prospectus with intense care
• Furnish every column with the exact details
• The personal details entered in the form should match with that in the original certificates
• Be careful while entering the details regarding the centre and the courses
• There must not be any vacant column as the incomplete forms will be rejected
• A recent photograph has to be affixed in the space allocated
• Take a photocopy of the filled form and keep it for future reference
