Kurukshetra University conducts PhD in Geography Entrance Test annually for the purpose of selecting eligible students for admission into Doctor of Philosophy in Geography course being offered at this University. This University also offers numerous other specializations in PhD and separate entrance tests are also being conducted to admit students into these programs.

Structure of Kurukshetra University Ph.D in Geography Entrance Test

This Entrance Test will be having two papers. Paper 1 will be having 50 questions as objective type. The total time allotted for this exam will be 100 minutes and the total marks one could obtain in this test will be 100. Paper 2 will be subjective in nature. It will consist of 20 questions. Each question will be carrying five marks & the total time will be 2 hours.

Eligibility Criteria

Students with a Master’s degree in Geography with a minimum aggregate of 55% from any recognized University will be eligible to appear for this Entrance Test. A relaxation of around 5% will be given to the handicapped and for those who belong to various backward communities including SC/ST.

The candidates can get thepplication forms for this Entrance Test from the official website of this University. The students have the option to download the admission forms directly from the official website of this University. An admission fees of Rs.40/- have to be paid by all general category students. The blind candidates of Haryana and who are in the backward categories need to pay only Rs.10/- as the application fees. The filled up application forms must be correctly addressed to “The Director/Chairperson, Institute/Department of Psychology, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra-136119”. Another way is to submit the filled up admission form to the University office.

How to fill the Form?

The applicants should take proper care while they fill up this form for the entrance test. They need to fill up the personal details and other qualification details in the form without any errors. No scribbling and overwriting is allowed while filling up these forms. Recent photographs and signature of the students have to be carefully placed in the correct places. They must ensure that the filled up form reaches the correct destination within the specified time.
