Central College of Information Technology located in Raipur was established in response to the requirement of the people of the state of Chhatisgarh. Eligibility requirements:

Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University courses:  For all courses except PGDCA and B. Ed candidates must have completed their higher secondary examination and for Science courses alone, higher secondary course must be in science stream, while for B. Ed and PGDCA courses, candidates must have completed their graduation in any stream of education from a recognized university.

Sikkim Manipal University Courses: For PG courses offered under Sikkim Manipal University, candidates must have completed their graduation in any stream of education, while for B. Sc IT course, candidates must have completed their higher secondary course.

Infrastructure:

Over these years of its existence, Central College of Information Technology has grown conspicuously in learning resources and infrastructure. The college accommodates the required infrastructure and physical facilities and in addition to the rapidly increasing number of new office buildings and classrooms, the college has got a development with respect to its infrastructural facilities in recent years. The college has a new enlarged library building with specious reading room and the campus of the college also accommodates hostels for boys and girls.
