The Central Institute of Plastic Engineering Technology is well-reputed institution engaged in training of manpower as well as in providing technical services to Plastic and associated Industries. Age Qualification for Plastic Engineering Technology (CIPET JEE) Entrance Exam

  • The age qualification for those who are applying for bachelor degree such in Plastic Engineering/ Technology must be not less than 21.
  • Those who are applying for master’s degree in Plastic engineering or Plastic technology, Nano technology and CAD CAM/ CAE must be within 35 years of age.
  • The age criteria for Diploma in Integrated Program Plastics Mould Technology is 19 years or above.
  • The age required for Post Graduate Diploma in Plastic Processing and Testing is less than 24 years.
  • Age relaxation up to five years is given to SC/ST candidates. The same is applicable to those sponsored by industries and those from North Eastern region.

Who can apply for Plastic Engineering Technology (CIPET JEE) Entrance Exam?

  • All Indian Citizens are eligible to apply for Central Institute of Plastic Engineering Technology Entrance Examinations.
  • Those aspirants who have passed the intermediate examination of 12th are eligible to apply for the bachelor degree in Plastic Engineering or Plastic Technology.
  • Those who have passed Bachelor of Technology or Bachelor of Engineering in the concerned subject can apply for Masters Degree in Plastic engineering or Plastic technology, Nano technology and CAD CAM/ CAE.
  • Those aspirants who have passed Matriculation or equivalent with Mathematics, Science and English as academic subjects can apply for Diploma in Integrated Program Plastics Mould Technology
  • All Indian citizens who possess a bachelor degree with Chemistry as one of the subject in academic curriculum can apply for Post Graduate Diploma in Plastic Processing and Testing

Scholarship program for Plastic Engineering Technology (CIPET JEE) Entrance Exam

CIPET is providing a Scholarship amount of Rs. 12000/- per month for those who are doing research programs in the related area. Other meritorious students in graduate and postgraduate courses are provided with endowment scholarship. This endowment is provided from the endowment fund raised from leading plastic industries or organizations.
