Charak Institute of Education came into existence in the year 2010 and the college is affiliated to the Lucknow University. It is a self-financed co-education institution running under the control of the Charak Group of Professional Studies located in Lucknow.

Decision of establishment of a teacher education institution was taken by the Charak Group of Professional Studies, which is running several professional courses keeping in mind the great scarcity of trained qualified teachers as a result of which Charak Institute of Education was established. The Charak Group of Professional studies came into existence in the year 2004 and right from its inception the institution has been offering service to the field of education.

Course details:

The only course offered by the Charak Institute of Education is Bachelor of Education and the proposed intake capacity of the institution for this course is 100 students per year. This teacher education course offered by the college is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education and is affiliated by the University of Lucnkow.

The campus of Charak Institute of Education is located at a distance of about 10 kms from the popular King George’s Medical College located in Lucknow and different means of transportation facilities are available for reaching the college.
