Admission Process for M.Sc in Industrial Chemistry

Eligibility criteria and admission process for M.Sc (Industrial Chemistry) varies with college/University. B.Sc degree from any recognized University with Chemistry as a subject of study is the basic qualification required. Graduation in Science is enough to apply for seeking admission in Central University of Gujarat. Admissions are done on the basis of Central University Common Entrance Test (CUCET). There will be two sections for the question paper, each comprising of multiple choice questions. Paper I is based on topics of general awareness, analytical skills, and English language. Second section includes questions on subject domain.

Intake capacity for M.Sc (Industrial Chemistry) in Shivaji University is 30. B.Sc degree with at least 55% marks and with Chemistry as the principal subject is the minimum qualification required. Selection process is made on the basis of entrance test and personnel interview conducted at the Department of Chemistry. Jiwaji University, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, etc also conducts entrance test for admission. Entrance test in GJU comprises of objective model questions of 100 numbers. The duration given for the completion of the test is 1 ½ hours.
