I have completed my 10th from CBSE board and I failed in 11th. Now I am pursuing my 12th from NIOS. Can I apply for polytechnic entrance exam of state level in 2017 on the basis of 12th NIOS? Please provide me the details.

Yes, 12th standard from NIOS candidates are eligible for Polytechnic entrance exam.

Those candidates who have passed matriculation/10th with Mathematics, Physical Science & English from Central or State Board recognized by Govt are eligible polytechnic entrance exam.

Your age should be below 21 years.

Yes, there is no problem in it if you have completed your 12th education via NIOS board, you are very much eligible to appear for Polytechnic entrance examination.

The minimum eligibility criteria is that the candidate should have completed their 10th standard from a recognized board.
