Sir, i have been passed out in 12th (PCM) through NIOS. I wish to write the WBJEE entrance examination next. So kindly tell me if my NIOS marksheet valid for appearing for the WBJEE entrance examination? I live in WEST BENGAL.

WBJEE stands for West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam and it is common entrance exam conducted by State government of West Bengal for undergraduate courses in engineering or medical field. Candidates who have done 10+2 from a recognized board with PCM subjects can apply for Engineering courses and those who have done with PCB subjects can apply for medical courses.

NIOS is recognized board and its certificates are valid for appearing for WBJEE. There is no problem in that, you can apply for WBJEE after completion of 12th standard from NIOS board.

NIOS(National Institute of Open Schooling ) is an open schooling board. It is open schooling board so that there is no need to attend the regular classes.
NIOS is similar to CBSE and ISC but the main difference is that These boards are regular boards and NIOS is an open schooling board.

NIOS is a highly recognized and valuable board of India. Its mark sheet is valid and valuable.

Candidate who have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from any recognised board are eligible to apply for WBJEE Entrance examinations.
NIOS is recognised by HRD ministry of Indian Government. So, you are eligible to apply for WBJEE entrance examination after passing PCM through NIOS.

NIOS candidates are eligible for WBJEE exam.

Those candidates who have completed 12th standard with above 50% marks from a recognized university with PCB or PCM subject are eligible for WBJEE exam.

Your age must be above 17 years.

I have completed my 10 2 std. from West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Examination in 2016. Later, I upgrade my Mathematics Marks from NIOS. Do these two marksheets are valid in WBJEE e-counseling?
