Can I study B.Tech(ECE) after completing 3 years full time Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering?


Sir,
I am doing Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. I am doing full time course of 3 years. Can I do B.Tech in EEE after my Diploma course?

No, it is not possible to pursue B.Tech in ECE after completion of your three years Diploma course in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Candidates who have completed three years Diploma course in a particular branch are eligible to pursue B.E/B.Tech course only in that particular branch. You can get direct admission in second year of four years B.Tech (EEE) course after completion of your three years Diploma course but, you cannot pursue B.Tech in ECE course.
