Can PhD be done after PGDM in HR?
Am i eligible for phd after pgdm in HR?Actually problem is that some says yes while some says not at all so i am in complete dilemma.

According to eligibility criteria for Ph.D admission in Universities recognized by UGC, one must have at least a Post Graduation degree with at least 55% marks to become eligible for admission in a Ph.D programme. Candidates who have B.Tech/MBBS are eligible for Ph.D admission but they have to pass a screening test for it.
If you are applying for admission in autonomous Institutes like IIMs then you can get admission on the basis of PGDM because IIMs only offer PGDM not MBA. Hence, if you have done your PGDM from IIM then you won't face any problem in admission in Ph.D but if you have done from other Universities then you may not be eligible for admission according to UGC guidelines. |
