EEE students can enter in software as well as core companies..
First you try to prepare core subjects like HVDC, Electrical machines,Control systems and power systems..these subjects are more imp for cracking any interview or entrance exam..Even im EEE student completed Btech 2010 with 68%.. i got job in BMM Ispat ltd in Ballary..So dont worry prepare for gate exam..throgh gate score u can enter any company but u should score ur academic as minimum 65%..

first complete graduation with distinction and complete btech EEE course with distinction after complete btech you write the gate exam then qualify in gate you study master degree m.tech then you can get the job of core companies electrical EEE study

the eligibility criterion for most of the core company is you should have minimum of first class that means you should have minimum of 60% marks throughout. some company also give eligibility criterion like you should have minimum of 65 or 70% marks.


in most of the core company recruit experienced candidate or trained freshers candidate. for this i think it's better to take training from outside institution. you may take training on power system or power engineering, microcontroller, PLC, control system etc.

Eligibility
you have Engineering with minimum of 70% aggregate.the aggregate level may be higher or lower depending upon the company.But,for most of the Public Sector Undertaking(PSU's) the aggregate must be above 65%.

There are many companies for EEE graduate it depends upon your interest whether you want to choose govt. sector or private sector. If you want to go through govt sector you can choose various entrance exam, you can also go through GATE. If you want to choose private sector then you can check vacancy online from various organization. Its your choice you can choose manufacturing unit as well as testing lab. Some of private companies are:
1)Philips
2)Videocon
3)Samsung
4)Surya
5)Bajaj etc.
You can also apply for NABL and BIS recognised labs. You just go to NABL home page and list of laboratories are mention with email and phone numbers of HR or director and same in case of BIS also.
