The National Educational Testing Bureau of University Grants Commission (UGC) conducts National Eligibility Test (NET) to determine eligibility for lectureship and for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for Indian nationals in order to ensure minimum standards for the entrants in the teaching profession and research. The Test is conducted in Humanities (including languages), Social Sciences, Forensic Science, Environmental Sciences, Computer Science and Applications and Electronic Science.

Every year UGC-NET is conducted twice, June and December. The year (2010) December Examination is goingto be coducted on 24th Dec' 2010.

As per given in UGC official website, the declaration of result of June and December should be in the month of October and April respectively. But from last two exams UGC is not publishing results in time....results are delayed. UGC net December 2010 result was also declared in June... it was delayed by almost one and half month...and mark lists are not available after 10 months from the date of exam... students are waiting to see the marks list from last more than 10 months for December 2010 exam... Can somebody tell me what is happening in UGC? Why are they not doing their work in time?...this is the story of UGC NET December 2010 .....what to tell about June 2011 exam... Hey God ... do something...
having advanced technology available for UGC, why are the result too late? UGC should think on these problems.....

Do remember, if successful, you have to send attested copy of Final MSc mark sheet, birth certificate and community before 31st March.

NET stands for National Eligibility test and this examination is Conducted by UGC, Twice in a year and to apply for this examination you have to complete your Post graduate degree course with minimum 55% Marks. If you have already appeared for December NET Examination, Then please wait for the result because the result of December NET was not declared by UGC Yet.

UGC Declared the June NET Result and it is available in the official website.

But soon the result will be declared in the official website. So please visit the official website regularly for updates regarding NET Result.
