You can join Indian air force after passing +2 in PCM by following ways :

1.NDA- To appear in NDA,the only criteria is that you should pass your +2 in PCM.You

can appear in this exam as an appearing candidate also.To appear in this exam your

age should be less than equal to 19 years at the time of commencing the course at

IMA.

Note :the mode of exam is objective.In this exam,question comes from the physics,

chemistry,math that you have read in your +2.Also some question comes from

general knowledge,in general knowledge question comes from the history ,

geography,civics and current affairs.After clearing this stage you will be call for

AFSB.After clearing this you will be commissioned as flying leutinent in Indian air force.

2.TES(Technical entry scheme) :To appear in this exam,you have to pass your +2

exam with marks greater than equal to 75% in PCM.

note :subject of exam is Physics,chemistry and math.After qualifying this exam you will

be called for AFSB.After clearing this clearing this stage you will get admission in army

institute of technology for 4 year B.Tech course.During your study period,you will get

stipend.After completing your B.Tech from army institute of technology you will be

commissioned as flying leutinent in the technical field.


AIRMAN :you can also join air force as an air man.It has also two category:

i)Tech ii)non-Tech.

you can apply for both on 12th basis.

you can join indian airforce after 12th in non technical entry.for that you have to appear for NDA exam which is conducted by UPSC.after passing NDA you can join indian airforce as a flying officer.

you can join Indian air force through technical entry after doing B.tech. in any discipline.

you can join Indian air force as a personal by passing the exam conducted by INDIAN AIRFORCE itself.

Apart from NDA the only way left for a 12th passed student is TES.


TES: For Technical Entry Scheme eligibility criteria is such that candidate must be +2 passed with Pure-science, such that it should be minimum 70% aggregate including PCM.Selection will based on written test, Interview and Medical Fitness test.

After clearing all the stages candidate will be send for training where there he will also be able to study Engineering from the TOP Institutes of India which are specially mean for Defence services.

To join the NDA you need to fulfil the following requirements:

> Age: 16 ½ to 19 years

> Nationality: Indian

> Gender: This is applicable only to men.

> Educational Qualifications: You should have passed your 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics. Final year students can also apply.

> Advertisemetn Schedule: March and October every year. ( Advertisement released by UPSC)

According to your given birth date now you are not applicable to give NDA exam. but you can go through Technical entry scheme. And Eligibility is- your marks in PCM in +2 should be more than 70%. Then you can fill the form of TES which will come out in the month of October in employment newspaper. After that you will be called for SSB interview. Other way to go in IAF is - after graduation you can apply for IAF (SSB interview) through CDS (Common Defence Service) exam or you can go directly to SSB interview through technical entry.

Well, dear you haven't mentioned the branch of your engineering, niether in which you are.

However, for Engineers Our Defence Service have following Entry Schemes.

If you a 1st year student and within the age of 19 years then you can go through NDA or TES entry scheme.

Otherwise following schemes are there for you.

UES (it has both permanent & SSC scheme): university entry scheme,is meant for all male and female candidates those who have attend there first university degree,that is (Bachelor degree). Notification for it are released In Employment news. Both Short service and permanent service is offered through this scheme.


SSC: short service commission,is ment for all candidates those who have B.sc/M.sc (Physics,radio,electronics,) or B.tech/M.tech (civil,mechanical,electronics,electronics & talecommunication,Aeronautical etc.) with atlest 60% aggregate including all semester.Notification for it are released In Employment news.
Age Limit: 25 years for Bachelor Holders, 27 years for Master holders



CDS: Combined Defence Service Examination (CDSE) is conducted by upsc (http://www.upsc.gov.in) twice every year for entry into all three defence services.
Eligibility criteria is different for all three. For ARMY- graduation in any background,with at least 60% aggregate Age Limit- 25 years.For Navy: B.sc(with Physics and Mathematics) or B.tech/B.E Age Limit- 22 years.For Airforce- B.E./B.Tech,graduate in any decipline with Physics or Mathematics at class 12 Age Limit- 23 years.

You can also enter in there logistic cadre ,the minimum qualification for logistic cadre is B.sc(pcm),BCA,LLB,etc.You have to crack an entrance for it conducted by army,navy and airforce it self.Notifications are released in employment news keep it reading.

For NCC Certificate holder: All the criteria is same, in an addition canidate must have senior grade NCC "B" grade "C" certificate in ARMY wings.

Fast Track Entry Scheme: are meant for recruiting Engineers through campusing.Like wise MNC's This time IAF has also introduced this scheme for recruiting young Engineers in IAF in technical branches.This scheme held across the selected Engineering Institutes of India.

This scheme also takes place in Various "Career/Educational fares" or by Organising Rally etc.

But Generally Airforce Admit Aeronautical Engineering students through this scheme.

After your 12th you can go for army officer only in the Flying Branch.

The Flying branch includes Fighter pilots who fly combat or fighter planes carrying ammunition and missiles.

To join you have to go through the following steps :-

after 12th you fight TES exam it is available for mathematics students.
You can also apply for NDA. If you join after graduation you take fight CDS,
SSC and UES exam.

12th standard from Science side leads to you in the Technical branch of NDA.
But for this you have to give the special exam for only science students & also the seats are limited

12th standard from Non-Science side leads to you in the Non- Technical branch of NDA.
For this you have to give the NDA-1/NDA-2 exam .

Every year AIR FORCE conducts examination for it's various posts in tech and non-tech division.
if you are non-technical stuident then you can never go for technical division.
if you are science student then you can apply for technical post . you can apply for NDA also.

NDA: For entering into INA through NDA,first you have to qualify entrance,then comes ,SSB (service selection board) where,you have to pass an interview,if you pass it then you have to go through PAT (physical accessement test),after passing it the last stage is Medical fitness test.
Then passsing all that you have to undergo 3 years long training at NDA,Dehradun .After succesful training you will be awarded a bachelor degree and will be appointed as Liutenent.

There is lots of other opputunity for science graduate in NDA.There you will be also get oppurtunity to prepare and appear for Entrance like-AIEEE,IITJEE etc. and becomming engineer from there wholly on government's cost.
