ICFAI- The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India is considered as toughest most complected exams (toughness is not based on length its on how was its concept is...) in India to date

This is a highly relative question.

For ex - science may seem easy to a science student but not to a commerce student.

So,
IIT-JEE and BITSAT are considered to be the most challenging papers in Engineering.

While, in general, CAT and UPSC Civil Services exams are considered top notch.

Dear pal,
no exam is tough as people says the way you prepare matters.Most of the competitive exam are referred as tough . Few are GATE, CAT IITJEE, UPSC,The first two are entrance exam while the last is for job recruitment.
The exam are made tough to make the person with knowledge to get selected and avoid every one getting selected

It is very difficult to tell that which is India's toughest exam..but according to me IAS is the toughest exam of India as it really needs PERSEVERANCE AND PASSION. To crack such a prestigious exam you should have multidimensional approach. You will have to study all the field subjects for Preliminary exams.

This is a bit difficult question to answer as you can't say anything about any exam .It depends upon the quality and standard of questions that are asked in examination .

But as far as engineering entrance exam is concerned ,IIT-JEE is definitely the toughest.

If you will go towards mba entrance exam, you will find CAT ,the toughest.


IAS or IPS is also considered tough .

Another exam that is SCRA is also considered tough to crack and it's question matches the IIT-JEE level.


So you just can't decide which exam is toughest.

INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE (IAS) is the most toughest exam in India. As it covers syllabus of Arts, Science, Commerce Current affair5s, gk & everything under the sun,

after all i think amie exams most toughest becoz of not proper syllabus nd lake of its studybooks...

I think the first India's toughest exam would be CA, because the syllabus in CA course is vast in all the subjects.
Next to CA would be CAT, because of the global standard maintained in the syllabus.

how many students are selected in cat exam

in my opinion jee conducted by iits is one of the toughest xam not only in india rather than world also..........bcoz UG level xam & student have to face it just after school life!!!!!

In my opinion IIT-JEE is the toughest exam,even tougher than the likes of ias and cat,as all the bright students invariably try for iit-jee after high school,so the competition is very tough,whereas after graduation,different people go for different options....some try for ias ,some for cat,and some others go abroad for studying,so the competition gets divided into different areas and is not so concentrated in one particular area.

after the 10+2 level the most challenging exam is no doubt the IIT JEE
after graduation the IAS can be considered the toughest
CAT is not far behind
similarly there are others like GATE,MAT,UPSC,IES etc

according to me there is no tough xams.your preparations depends and sharp minds and hard work person make top of it.however competition in todays scenario is such that all cannot get to the top it and frustration are bound to occur which then the persons thinks of it to be tough.however the xams like cat, ias,iit have limited seats which make such xam competitor not tougher.therefore from lakhs of students applying only few thousand get into it.the xam are said to be tough when all question are set beyond our understabilty.and i dont think any such exam occurs.thank god there is no exam for prime minister post.if it would have occur then only 1 seat would have available and would have toughest examination

i thinik the CA exam is the most toughest exam in india......it requres continues hard work and dedication towards work....it takes upto 5 years.....

guys talking about IAS/CAT/IIT-JEE exam seems hve no idea about medical pg md/ms exam..Infact a single subject out of 18 ug subjects is much bigger than whole enginering or managment course..

EVERY EXAM SEEM TO BE TOUGH IF WE ARE NOT STUDYING PROPERLY....HOWEVER IN TERMS OF FEAR, CUTOFF----- THESE ARE COUNTED IN TOUGHEST EXAM-----
1) CSE CONDUCTED BY UPSC( MOTHER OF ALL EXAMS & TOUGHEST IN TERMS OF HUGE SYLLABUS)
2) AIIMS CONDUCTED BY AIIMS ITSELF( TOUGHEST DUE TO FEW SEATS AND COMPLEXITY IN EXAM PAPER)
3) IIT( TOUGHEST DUE TO FEW SEATS AND HUGE SYLLABUS FOR SUCH A 16-18 YEARS GUY......)

IF YOU ARE TOUGH THAN EXAM TOUGHNES GONE....JUST ENJOY MOMENT AND STUDIES ......ONCE WE WIN...
