Is NIOS a recognized board? is it applicable in entrance exams?

I AM DOING VOCATIONAL COURSE ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN FROM NIOS. IS IT RECOGNISED BY J&K GOVERNMENT? CAN I APPLY IN GOVERNMENT JOB AFTER COMPLETING THIS COURSE? IS THIS CERTIFICATAE IS EQUIVALENT TO THE I.T.I CERTIFICATE OF 2 YEARS ELECTRICIAN COURSE CODUCTED IN I.T.I ?

my ref no A0411304045 and your comments is that your admission for NIOS cannot be confirmed due to i am passed my secoundary Exam from Direcorate of Army Edn whereas this cert is certified by CBSE Board Vide there letter no Genl/F-94/174 dt 21 07 1978 and your Ghy regional director not give any satification reply upon this matter

hy,
NIOS, National Institute of Open Schooling, is recognised by the central government and is equivallent to any other board of education.
It is the largest open schooling system in the world with an record enrolment of almost 1.5 million students in both secondary and senior secondary level.
So, indivuduals from NIOS are definitely eligible to write any entrance exam.
so dont take tension about its affiliation....

No, you cant apply to NIOS to increase your ISC marks.
But., you can make a fresh registration in NIOS and get a good score, and use that certificate for any purpose.

which schools,colleges accept NIOS and have NIOS for 12th? because that say that if you do nios for 10th rarely some schools accept.please anybody reply for this.
