There are many companies which comes in the campus for campus placement.
this is all depend on your collage ,you may contact to your placement cell in your college.
but for off campus placement there are some companies:

there are so many core company that recruit automobile engineering student through campus recruitment. some time some mechanical engineering core company also recruit automobile engineering student.

but which company will go to your institute it will totally depend on your institution. contact with your placement department to know which company previous year recruited from your institute from college campus.

There are N number of companies that are available for recruitment now a days but only a few companies come to the institutions and recruit candidates on the campus. That is it depends on the college so you can contact the placement department of your college to get a clear idea of the companies that are coming for recruitment this year. You can even take the list of companies that came for placements last year to your campus but that also can vary from year to year.

Hi,

Yes you can. You can sit for the IT companies in the campus interview.
The demand is so much that they take students from mechanical, electrical and other core branches.
For TCS you need to clear a written, technical and at last HR round.
You need to have 60% in 10th,12th and throughout aggregate of 60 in degree till that time.

You can post your resume on job sites like naukri.com, monsterjob.com.
Also you can take part in Off-Campus interviews.
You can even go for defence services and bank POs if you want to go in government jobs.

First of all congratulations for being placed.....I will suggest you to take up TATA MOTORS cause its more of Electronics stream when compared to TCS which deals with only software IT stream wherein you have to work with programs which needed lot of learning after getting inside the company, it you opt for TATA MOTORS learning will be less comparitively cause some of your core subjects comes into play... and career growth wise TATA MOTORS will be really good for you when compared with TCS...
