I am open category candidate selected in SBH. Will my salary be same as SBI employee or lesser? Associate Bank State Bank of Hyderabad. I'm selected for Maharashtra circle... I am currently living in PUNE... where will the posting be given ? Results were declared 09/09/2011 when will I get offer letter to join ?

if i join as a bank po suppose in sbi then the normal promotion duration is of about 3 yrs,,,,so if i did not take the promotion,,,is that happen or u have to take promotion after 3 yrs??????????????? i mean to say that if u want to stay as a branch manager for whole life in a same place,,,,,,is that possible or u have to be get promotion..............

you will get promotions after 10 years of your job, if you are a bank clerk.

for officers this duration is of about 3 years.

you can also get promotions by passing internal exam of your banks.

the salary of bank employee is good.

the salary of all government employee has increased about two times after implementation of recommendations of 6th pay commission.

friend the banks jobs are most secure and best jobs in my opinion
the banker if he join as po than he has to complet his pro period of 2 years than the he will be posted at any branch, and also one thing that if he done well in that period than the possiblity to become a assistant manegar in a small branch.

there are some promotion level in bank jobs.

if anyone is a clark then after three years he can be a officer through an exam.
after officer he can reach more higher level bank officer if he can pass the exam.


good salary in bank jobs and increment is high if you can pass all exam.

i am a clerk in a regional rural bank,currently officiating as a second officer.i am also 1st in waiting list of the last PO exam of the same bank.do i have any legal right to promotion to existing PO vacancies on this basis or on the basis of the length of officiating as second officer...

MERIT Channel - promotion to Trainee Officer after two years of service if you got selected after promotion exam with interview. you will have 2 yrs probationary period and confirmed as JMGSI

Merit Cum seniority channel - promotion to JMGS I after 5 years of service, you will have one year probationery period

Seniority Channel-Promotion to JMGS I after 12 years of service
