you will get promotions after 10 years of your job, if you are a bank clerk.

for officers this duration is of about 3 years.

you can also get promotions by passing internal exam of your banks.

the salary of bank employee is good.

the salary of all government employee has increased about two times after implementation of recommendations of 6th pay commission.

you can get promotions by passing internal exam of your banks.
there are some exams that are conducted timely by banks for promotion called promotional test if you are able to clear that examination than surely you will be promotedfor higher post

bank clerk pay scale is RS 8000
DA 54% i.e RS 4320
hr 6.5% i.e RS 520
ta 3.5 % i.e RS 280
total pay RS 13360

I.T bank officer pay scale is RS14500
DA 64% i.e RS 4780
hr 9.5% i.e RS 1000
ta 5.5 % i.e RS 580
total pay is RS 19000(approx)

for promotion cretaria-:
if u r in officer grade you will be promoted affter 3 year and if u r in clerk grade u will be promoted affter 10 year

What is the posting process for sbi bank clerk

i am a Bsc.IT student i was passed out in this year 2012 , i got aggregate 58% marks & i was got 56.33% at HSC (science stream)
i know all the Computer knowledge I want to join the SBI bank please kindly give me you opinion that am i applicable for the Paot Sbi Clerck ?rly immediately

I have just joined Baroda UP Gramin bank as PO, Can anyone please tell me that what kind of internal promotion and how would i come to know that for these tests.
Also please guide me what and how do i have to prepare for those tests.

Sir, I have done one sitting graduation from Osmania university Hyderabad,in the Year 1991. That time it was UGS recognised till the year 1995-96.My bank has denied 2 graduation increment because it is not 3 year Graduation. Whereas SBI has been giving same increment to their staff.I have 3 Court orders which clearly says that'' it is valid degree at par with the other degree of same university for education and employment''. Kindly clarify Whether Graduation(One sitting) done from UGC recognized university(Osmania University)is valid for 2 increments or it should be 3 years only.If anf circular is there regarding ONE SITTING GRADUATION,please share. I m not answering ur question, I only want to ask you that what is the current in-hand salary of a clerk in syndicate bank in 2014, I have been selected in ibps - cwe clerks III and have been alloted for syndicate bank..pls reply..
