dear friend,
there is no restriction on number of attempts for GATE exam, you can give it as many times you want. there is no upper age limit also. so you can give the exam as many times as you want and at any stage of life.

There are no such limit .So you can give the exam many times .Because there is no upper age limit.
But the validity of gate score = 2 years .

there is no age limit or no restriction to the number of attempts..a student can appear for the exam..a student can appear for GATE any number of times as he likes..so dont worry and prepare well

Yes ,3rd year b-tech student are eligible for GATE exam.

GATE score is valid for two years.Also you can apply GATE exam in many times as you wish.

There is no limitation of GATE exam.Also there is no age criteria for GATE exam.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology from any recognized university .
Final year can also appear in exam .

As far as I am concerned,GATE Score is valid only for IOCL followed by an interview else all the PSUs and government sector has its own exam conducted once in a year.GATE Score is valid for getting admission in various colleges for various masters degree and this can be helpful to get selected in many private college as a lecturer.
No any other company demands GATE Score for the recruitment.But yes,that can be your additional positive point ,If you reaches in any interview after cracking their written exam.All the best.

hello sir my ame is madhu studying final b.tech i would like to know about howmany times the student preferable for gate entrance examination tests

the GATE eligibilty is given below

1.minimum graduation in engineering.

final year & prefinal year btech students are allowed to attain in the gate exam.

2.after msc doing msc. students are also eligibile to attain in the gate exam.

there have not any age limit to attain in the gate exam.

and you can appear many times in gate exam.
