If u want c.s branch in these college then you have to secure under4000 rank,but if u want to have any branch then u can get upto 8000 rank.

Given your Rank i.e, 68000, Your Chance Of Getting in any NIT's Is

Quite Difficult...

May be even if you do get in any NIT's, you might surely end up having a

biotech/chemical Branch..

But an ECE In NIT's, I don't Think it will be feasible With Your Rank...

Better Try out changing Your Opinions..

or May be You can try Out The other Private Colleges, if You are Adamant on

With a Mark Of 108 in AIEEE, i guess your rank is surely >60000.

But With This Rank I Don't Think you 'll be able to End up there..

Cuz last year's Cut off For NIT Patna was 30000 Odd..

you are required to score the descent all India rank in the aieee exam to get the admission into the top nit's.

for getting the best branch in the best nit's one must score the rank less than the 25000.

what is a maximum rank for join to nit/iit.

sir m studying in class 12.......n i m obc so wot will be d average mark dat i wll need for nit.....

to take admission in nit warangal, trichi , and suratkal you have to score between 15000 air for rest you have to score below 40000 air.

The rank required is subjective and tends to change. For general category students, a rank upto 15000 can get them into NIT's not considering streams. For obc students, the rank may go up till 30000. State quotas also help.

As you fall in the obc category, you should try to get atleast 150-190 out of 360 to get into a good NIT.

It's quite tough to judge what will be the actual rank needed to get into the NITs.
It varies from year to year.
It depends on several factors like-
1. How many students are appearing in he exam.,
2. What will be the cut-off,
3. What colleges students are giving their preference on that particular year etc.
Try to secure a position as better as possible.
If you want to get admission in a good stream then within 30000rank will be considered as a good one.

remember that this is all india qouta.......if you have state reservation you will more chances......because 50% of seats are for particular state to which particular NIT belongs to...............................................

for top 5 NITs you have to secure under 5000 rank. then you can get these NITs but for getting CS and ECE branch in Warangal , Trichi and other top you have to secure under 1500 rank. and if are in any category then you should be relaxed.

You have to score very high marks so that your rank falls under top 5000 AIR..........

even if you have rank between 5000-10000 you have the chances of getting good colleges but you will not get the branch of your choice...

With a score of 200 you can expect a rank under 20,000 which i think is a good rank. But yeah i think you can get a branch in NIT Calicut but i doubt if you could get the top branches since these branches get filled by top candidates.

Most of the NIT seats are filled in the first counselling itself. About 10000 candidates are called for the first counselling.

So it would be nice, if anyone secures a rank within the top 10,000 AIR. You would get a seat in NIT. Still getting a subject or stream of your choice is doubtful.

For that in fact you should be between 1-6000 top candidates.

You need to get rank upto 10000 to make it to the top NIT.

NIT warangal and trichy will require rank up to 6000.
