The UPSC holds this exam for the entry of candidates in Defence services which includes Indian Army, Indian Air force and Indian Navy.
Exam is conducted for the students which are in 12th class or have completed their class with a minimum of 55% and have Physics,chemistry and Mathematics as their subjects..Minimum age is 16 and a half to 19 and a half.If you are really interested in going to Indian Army then start preparing now itself ,There are Books specially for NDA exams like Upkar Publications ..etc or else have command over your basics to the subjects which you have studied like Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics and bit of General knowledge thats enough...to clear the exam..

The eligibility creteria of the candidate who join NDA after 12th.
The candidate age bitween the 16.5years and 19years.
The candidate should complete his 12th with non medical stream.
The minimum percentage of marks in 12th is 55% form the recoganized university or college.
The physically phitness is most important.
After these eligibility you should clear the NDA entrance exam.

The cut-off marks is difficult to tell you, because the cut-off marks is keep changes in every year. But if you score 40% in all subjects. Then you have a chance to get a job.

The NDA exam details are given below.

NDA exam details:-

The candidates who are completed their 12th standard is only eligible for NDA exam.

The age limits for NDA exam is 16.5years to 19 years.

Girls not eligible for this exam, only unmarried male candidates are eligible.

You should be physically fit and a citizen of india.

but you score min of 60% above marks score in the entrance exam

Min .marks to qualify is in maths out of 300 it is 145 .
and in general studies it is 380 out of 600
so total 680 out of 900 is required

sir I want to ask with you that minimum marks is required to pass the NDA exam 2015. and call me for SSB ....so plss mind me....

Ans: it's depend on your both percentage as well as your fitness you should score at least 60% in 12th HSC examination only then you can apply for NDA
Your fitness also depends note that you should be fully fit, no severe injuries or no severe operations happen
