The candidate have a age limit of 16 1/2 - 19 years of age.

For Army wing:

The candidates must have finished +2 with 10th and +2 pattern of school education board.

For Air force and Naval wing

The candidates must have finished +2 with 10th and +2 pattern of school education board with physics and mathematics as subjects.

The candidates must be physically fit while appearing for the exam.

If you want to become a army officer then you can apply for NDA exam after 12th.

Eligibility for NDA exam is follows:
1.You must be a citizen of India.
2.Candidate's age must be between 16-1/2 to 19 yrs.
3.Candidate should have 12th pass certificate from any state board or central board.
4.Candidate who are appearing for 12th exam also can apply.
5.candidate should have science side(maths+physics) in 11-12th class for air force and navy.
Procedure:
first you have to appear for the written exam conducted by UPSC.Exam contains two papers(1)is of maths and (2)is of general knowledge and english and some questions of physics and chemistry.

After selecting in written exam you will be called for SSB.It is aprocess of 5 days.During which your physical, mental state has tested.
After SSB you will be called for medical check -up.

NDA forms are filled two times a year,one in Oct-Nov and another in Mar-April hence you have to be updated through newspapers.

As you have done your 12th with commerce then you can only apply for army.

Every year the indian army is recruiting students for security.The eligibility criteria for indian army is
1.Candidate should comple the 12th class.
2.The age limit is 17-19 years.
If you have above qualification then you can apply for indian army and no need the NCC certificate for indian army.The selection process is
1.Physical test.
2.Medical test.
3.Interview.

it is not necessary for you to have an ncc certificate, though it certainly helps, the main thing is the age, do go to the official websites of the indian army, and check out the eligibility criteria. otherwise, a person with you qualifications will not face any such problems, best of luck...!!!

I have recently passed my NDA written exam and i wanted to know my SSB interview date. My roll no. in 109736.

you can appear for CDS exam conducted by UPSC

beside this you can also enter in this field through UES.

and in logistic or educational branch of INDIAN ARMY.

You can also appear for NDA exam conducted by UPSC conducted for th students of class 12th

i think if anyone have ncc certificate then it fine but if you don't have then no problem.
if you have a good knowledge and good physically condition then you deserve to join INDIAN ARMY.but before that you have to apply for NDA exam to join in INDIAN ARMY.
For applying NDA exam you should have atleast 55% marks in class 10th and 12th.

Those candidate have completed their 12th standard are eligible for NDA exam.

But your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

Only unmarried male candidate are applicable.


SELECTION PROCEDURE FOR NDA EXAM:-


1) Written test which is conducted by UPSC.

CDSE selection process is of 3 stages:
1. Written Exam
2. SSB(Services Selection Board) Interview
3. Medical Test



CDSE Syllabus:

English:
It includes;
This section deals on words, grammar and usage, structure of English language etc.

General Knowledge:
It includes;
General Knowledge, including knowledge of current events of everyday observation, History of India, geography etc.

Elementary Mathematics:
It includes;
Arithmetic, Unitary method, Elementary Number Theory, Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry and Mensuration etc.

No, problem you can join Indian Army after passing graduation without N.C.C.

For this you have to qualify the Combine Defence Services Exam(C.D.S.E).

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

After qualifying N.D.A exam you can join Defence services like:-
> Army
> Air Force
> Navy

Eligibility criteria for C.D.S Exam:-
> Pass graduation with recognized university
> Age limit:-19-24 year.
> Must be citizen of India
> Medically fit

There are three steep of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam

As you have finished your graduation you can enter into the Indian Army as an good rank officer. For that you need to appear in a exam conducted by UPSC named as CDSE(Combined Defense Service exam) or you can even appear in NDA exam with your 12th std.

To appear in NDA exam your age must be above 16 1/2 and below 19 years. You must have passed your 12th std of any stream from a recognized school.

To appear in CDSE exam your age must be above 19 years and below 23 years. You must be an unmarried male candidate and you must have cleared your graduation from a recognized university.

Indian Army 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme Course - 23 Qualification : 10+2 (PCM) with 70% marks.

Indian Army 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme Course - 23 Age : 16 and half to 19 and half years i.e. born between 01 Jan 1991 and and 01 Jan 1994 (both days inclusive)
