you are eligible for Ph.d. however it seems you are getting confused about your career choices .... so please first of all you decide based on your interest what you want to do in life... my suggestion would be"suno sabki karo apni"only then you wont have to repent 10 yrs down your career that you should have done something else.Remeber Ph.d. takes 4-5 years of your life.Make a firm decision....after completion of your MCA you can go for both private sector and govt sector.So after completion of your MCA you can go for govt sector.If you are completed your MCA then don't worry you have the wide range of opportunities.After MCA you can go for top MNC's like

Wipro
Infosys
Google
HCL
IBM etc..

Eligibility:

The candidates must have finished Master's degree with 55% aggregate.For SC/ST/VH/PH candidates it is 50% aggregate.
The candidates must appear with the subjects of their post graduation only.

Important Dates:

Date of UGC NET examination: 26th June 2011

Date of UGC NET Notification : 30.03.2011

i) Last date for Applying On-Line 25th April 2011

ii) Last date for receiving the documents at the test center: 2-5-2011
