Dear,
it doesn't look like because you have got good marks in 12th & in B.Tech & it seems that you have worked hard a lot after your 10th class to get good marks & that's why i think so that it doesn't effect on your campus placement Best of Luck |

Re: Effect of 10th class percentage in campus placement?
dear friend,
the result of class 10th also count in the campussing as some of the companies set it the mark as the elgibility criteria.some good companies like TCS,IBM,Microsoft etc made it mandatory for the students to have at least 60% in their 10th standard board exams. then only they can appear for the campus recruitment programme. all the best. |

ya there are some companies who consider your 10th and 12th board exam marks also........but dont worry if you have scored good marks in your b.tech course then there will be no problem as they prefer you if you have good marks in b.tech........and you have scored really good marks.......
so just prepare for your interview............ all the best |

Re: Effect of 10th class percentage in campus placement?
their is no effect of 10th marks in your campus placement
they ony check wheter you have 65% or not & rest of depend on your apptitude, intellegence, knowledge, behaviour, technicality. If you fullfil all these you will get placed with your lowre 10th standard marks |

If your aim to join very top most companies then you face this problem because many top most companies wants best academic record that in 10th, 12th and graduation they want above 60 or to say 70%. So, there is the problem with your 10th marks but many good companies see only 12th and graduation % and also they see your development , your hard working quality. So if you have potential then you have selected in godd companies. Good luck |

The 10th mark and percentage will be asked in the campus interview always WITHOUT FAIL. Most of the institutes are asking even up to the Ph.D level if you opt for the studies. Since you wish to go for job, this will reflect in your selection markings. Also you are having a good percentile in the 12th and the degree you can anyhow try to make up the interview in the campus selection. Apply and face with confidence. All the Best !!!! |

Re: Effect of 10th class percentage in campus placement?
today campus companies are measuring your confidence level, qualities extra curricular activities and percentage near about above 50% in 10th and graduation degree generally. But the main thing is that you have to perform best in recruiting process to make you differ from other competitor . so all the best and think positive success will be yours.

Re: Effect of 10th class percentage in campus placement?
Whether you are in b.tech or B.sc their is no effect of 10th standard amrks on your placement .
They only see your current score & performance & hardly see your 12th standard marks. In graduation 12th 7 10th standard marks are past & your present score is considered for measuring your performance |

Re: Effect of 10th class percentage in campus placement?
dear friend, many reputed companies like TCS, INFOSYS, WIPRO, Accenture etc put a criteria for students to join their companies .
A student must passes 10th & +2 with minimum 60% aggregate in each exam. so your marks 54% will create some problem for you to appear in entrance exam of many companies. you can try for other companies which have no criteria, or you can try in off campussing. good luck. |

Re: Effect of 10th class percentage in campus placement?
Yes, 10th and 12th class results have an affect in your placement.
But its not like, you can not even try if you haven't score well in these. 10th and 12th class results shows your improvement over the time when compared with your Graduation or master degree. These classes' results also affect your admissions. According to IIM-C [Calcutta], CAT exam have only 20% to do with the admissions in IIMs, what is really needed is a great score in your previous classes. This is valid for all the institutes. |

Re: Effect of 10th class percentage in campus placement?
dear friend
don't worry!!!! percentage of 10th class is the last thing which a company look after as they mainly consider your present academic records at best . and above all , they only look for your knowledge in your field and your skiils. so don't worry, as your b.tech. record is well so companies won't emphasize much on 10th percentage. hope your doubt to be solved . feel free to post as many doubts as you can,we are here to solve your doubts. regards, ~satish |

Re: Effect of 10th class percentage in campus placement?
hello , yes surely your 10th marks will affect your campus placement because every company during campus interview asks for 60% throughout the acamedic session of your engineering including 10th and 12th marks ..but there are some more companies who will not ask 10 and 12th marks so try for off campuses interview based on your profile ..all the best
