Today companies like tcs and others,need all over 60% in campus.
so,prepare from 10th.

i want to know that,whether i will get good jobs in campusing,i got 48% in PCM in my class 12th marks..wil it harm me for ot getting good jobs further in future ???

10th and 12th std results are important in campus placement as they show your past performance.

So, consistency throughout the student life is necessary.

Sometimes one should go by the market .you see where your interest goes, technicity or managerial.

there iz no effect b.coz the role of 10th's marksheet is for verifying the date of birth

No effect,, placements of good companies are through Enterence test and after that group discussion is held..if you are selected in these then i think your b.tech %age is sufficient..

I got 77% in 10th , 55% in 12th and my aggregate for MCA is 77% .
I want to ask that 12th class percentage will affect my placement ?

definitely i want the job in IT company because i cant study pg... but my marks are in this range.....
10th - 55%
12th - 65%
b.tech - 74.6%
because of my 10th mark i cant atten the anna university campus.... so please tell me which companies doest ask the 10th mark.... tell atleast 5 company name... its help me to placed......

yes it will affect in your campus placement but not to that much extent. you will not be able to sit for various MNC compony, you have to try your luck in smaller compony
so dont be frustrate you will get a good job

10th marks will not affect your campus........ in b.tech try to improve your talents and general knowledge ............. percentage is also necessary but your knowledge only speaks higher and give you a good identity..........all the best for you......... take care....dont worry.......

hello friend see during the time of your job recruitment the company demands for excellent records nd also as we all know that those having best are accepted first so your less marks in 10th will defenitely effect but your future work in a company will hide all that

If you have 80% above marks in 10th it will help in your campus interview
There will be no need of writing any qualifying exam if you have it.

the marks of your class 10 really effect your career,as the criteria for the most of the jobs is that you have to have at least 60% marks in your class 10 and 12th

wheather backlogs have any adverse impact on campus placement

i have same problem but one thing is if i gain experience in small company......afterthat shall i have any problem to sit in big companies or after that also i will face same problem uh.... pls clarify my doubt...........

yes you will face more difficulty during getting first of your campus interview.

as maximum big company gives criteria to students 60 or 65% marks throughout of career.

so you will not be abale to attain such interviews.

but don't worry, some company do not look into the matter.they just check only knowledge of candidate.

so it is better to build a strong concept in your own subjects.then you will get such kind of job easily.

Thats a good question put forward.
Well the percentage of 10th does not matter much in your placements, but many companies do ask for it during interviews.
What is important is that you need to have a good percentage in 12th and graduation.
Also if you have had a good training and a certificate from a reputed organization, it will help you in placements.

yes surely your 10th marks will affect your campus placement.Because some good company wants always 60% throughout the acamedic carrier .
In Off campus not necessary except some leading company.
if you are general category government company wants 55%.

there are so many companies which require good percentages....

if there is problem in one of 10th ,inter or btech then the companies can understand.......

but you might not be eligible for central government examinations such as DRDO,NTPC and many others since they require consistency of 1st class.....

dont worry for ur less percentage,it is right that it may affect on campusing of some renowned MNCs like TCS,INFOSYS,CTS,Wipro etc,they need 65,65,65 or greater than number.
but u can try off campusing or online fresher jobs & join any small company
Then after some exprience u can apply in MNCs

but for few good companies it matters.there are some good software companies like TCS, IBM etc ,which requites 60% marks through out your career. but don't worry.

there are also many good companies like TECH MAHINDRA, COGNIZANT etc, which admits students having less marks in 10th but having command over b.tech. subjects.

you are doing your Btech, from IT branch.. that means you want to go in software sector..
But my friend , as you are saying that you have got less percentage of marks in your 10th.. so there is a less possibility to get a job in software sector..

most of the software companies are want 60% aggregate throughout your career....

so, you are not eligible for good software companies..

campus placements does not consider 10 percentage they look forward at ur college performance ur result of semester exams and ur aptitude level

if you are worry for your 10 th result.dont worry in 12 th you have to carry a good marks.that the interviewer can impress on you .

Mostly all the companies demands for atleast 60% allthrough i.e., in 10,12, and b.tech.
But some companies doesn't want any percentage.

No i think no effect of 10 th class percentage in campus.They will see b.tesh percentage for campus

u can prepar for PSU,because in PSU required % is 65% in almost all PSU exam.
so many companies are there which recruite on the basic of B.TECH %.

companies demands 10th standard , 12th standard & B.Tech degree marks should be 60% & above without any backlogs.

You do not need to worry about this as you are under this demand or criteria.

in IT branch top companiess creteriya is mostaly above 60% in 10yh and same criteriya in 10+2.

i think you will suffer due to 10 mainly all the company require 60% so you should have more then 60 % best of luck

It will show an effect for sure but good news is that it will show in a positive manner.

You have shown a vast development in percentage continuously. So HR of companies take you easily.
But you should go prepared with a good reason for saying, for the less marks of 10th.

As you said that your 10th percentage is 54% which is less than 60%, you will face some problem since you belong to IT branch and most of the campus recruiting companies like TCS or Infosys do recruit only those candidates who scored throughout 60% and 65% respectively.

Time will never come and you have to look forward. You must try those companies which do not look at the schooling percentages but only look at graduation marks. So as per your question , if you apply in those companies then they probably would ask the reason of low marks in 10th class . Then at that time you have to be prepared to answer that. You can answer this as that you were aware of the pattern etc...

some companies make criteria for 60% in 10,+2 and b.tech.
but most of them do not put such clause for 10th level so don't get worried.
