i just finished my M.Pharm (pharmaceutics) degree . but i am not having any option for jobs, either in teaching or industry , and where i am having this i am not getting good package , can any body help me where i have to go . is this is the prospect of pharmacy to get a package of 1.8 lakh in teachinhg and 1.5 lakh package in industry after spending of 6 years in pharamcy for the master degree.

salary in pharma field is mostly depend on your experience or on your work or skill it is

depend on you how many you earn, on basis of m.pharm p,ceutics with 5 year

experience or more you will get about 5 to 10 lack P.A

If u want to become a lecturer u can do M Pharm by spending lakhs.
Even if u get a corporate job An average salary of good pharma company is 15000/- per month and has to work like donkeys & for this profile getting job is too difficult.
Better don't ruin ur life too buddies.

My Cousin Struggled for almost 3 years, even being in the TOP 10 of University TOPPER's. But presently he is working with Ranbaxy with a package of 8 Lacs per Annum.

The thing I want to make you understand is that just acquiring the Degree is not the job gauranter.

Various Factors are responsible for it Talent, Luck etc.

And the hit of recession, Fire broke out at Ranbaxy etc. like factors had kept the Indian Pharmaceutical Inustry at backlog.

Even being the World's lagrest Phaceutical Hub, India is unable to create good jobs Why?

A little example:- India is the largest Antibiotic (Basically Azithromycine) consuming country which requires Lacs of Tones per years to cater the need, unables to produce even 1/4 in India becuase of very high fanufacturing cost. So either imports from Forign or Manufacture it in foreign country where the company have Plant.

So, here alone a single Antibiotic has taken hundreds of jobs.

And today one of the most Important factor is Persuing the course from the best Institutes having good placement records.

there is too much doubts of people all around for m pharmacy professionals. i want to let it make clear. i completed my b pharmacy.selected in gpat with 358 rank.one thing u all had to accept that u all were nt superb otherwise u would b doctors. next compaed to mba professionals we get less initial starts, bt we invest less as fees, & even u get scolarship from mhrd which is now 2.5 lac for 2 yrs. struggle is a part of life , have guts in u, u jst want enjoyment, bt my dear friends pharmacy is a profession of precise knowledge, prepare well for gpat & afterwards whatever college u r studying have best of knowledge of ur project work, and have sound interview preparation,u would suceed.
i had seen my seniors placed in zydus cadila, dr reddy's & ranbaxy.
money does nt matter while u are persuing for knowledge, once u have it, money follows

pharmacy is a good career option. you can apply for research scientist section.
its a wellpaid job!!
there is some companies:1.Ranbaxy
2. Dr Reddy laboratory
3. Cipla
and also some multinationals like
1.pfizer
2.abots
3.gsk
4.aventis
and the salary starting with2-4 lacks per year.after 2-4 years experience it will be 5-6 lacks.

In Pharmaceutical industry during entry level in one ears app 3- 4 lakhs per year . However after years of experience the package may increase to 5- 6 lakhs per year depending on the need from your side and the company side.

m,pharma bann kkr do.. Pharmacy is much harder than engg. Its totaly wastage of tm nn money. I m also pharma graduate .. U r right pharmacist hv to work like donkeys n paid like dogs so plz dont misguide anyone..

First of all it will be impossible for you to get job unless u have a good reference. Or you college has a good placement cell. If you are selected in campus then 2-3 lakhs per annum. If you get selected from outside the campus then 1.5-2 lakh per annum.

approx i say that,a post graduate from a good institute can expect between4-6 lacs pa. after few years of experience say 5 years you can clame 9-11lacs pa.

there are no jobs after doing b.pharma and m.pharma.it depends upon ur luck,if u get job in production there is more workload and less salary and u will frustate therfore u should join teachin or R n D ,DEPENDS UPON UR LUCK .THERE ARE LOTS B.PHARMA AND M.PHARMA.GOD BLESS B.PHARMA.AND M.PHARMA STUDENTS .YEH BHAGWAN SAVE THE PHARMA FIELD.

HI!

You can either continue your job in the teaching line or you can join as a new employee in pharma industry.

I would suggest Teaching field because of the reasons that they can have improved stability, security and that the retirement age is extended to 65 years.

But if you are interested you can also find employment opportunities in Biocon, Natco, Oneasia Biotech, and other companies.

The job opportunities available to you are as follows:

* Pharmacist
* Drug Therapist
* Health Inspector
* Drug Inspector
* Research Officer

Remuneration: After gaining 2 years experience in the teaching field you can expext an average annual salary of Rs. 3-3.5 lakhs

The salary depends on one's potential and a average student can fetch around 3 lacs per annum easily

If student is outstanding then sky is limit

He would easily get the package of around 5 lacs per annum
