SET is State Eligibility Test

The exam has been conducted on 7th August 2011.

The notification for the the next exam is not yet published.

The exam is conducted by UGC (University Grants Commission)

The exam is conducted for candidates who have completed their Master's degree from a recognized univeristy.

Regarding SET(WB) 2011, i have some querry.
1. I have already cleared NET-(Bengali) in June-July-2011 for Lecturer ship only.

The State Eligibility Test (SET) exam for lecturership in different universities in West Bengal is advertised on december. Application fee is Rs 550 (Rs 300 for SC/ST/OBC/VH/PH).The West Bengal State Eligibility Test (SET) Question Pattern is divided into three papers.

first paper questions are general questions for all subjects and WB SET first paper must be cleared in order to be eligible for the evaluation for the other two papers.

paper one usually contains objective questions on Teaching and Research Aptitude, logical reasoning, basic English and mathematics, general knowledge and the like. Usually sixty (60) multiple choice questions are set and carry two marks each. for more details log in to :www.wbcsc.ac.in
