Re: How to convert CGPA system on 10 point scale into marks in numbers?
CGPA stands for Cumulative Grade Point Average.
You can find out both your percentage and marks obtained from your CGPA. To get the percentage: Multiply your CGPA number with 9.5 Example: If your CGPA is 8.2 then your percentage obtained, =(8.2*9.5)% =77.9% To get your marks obtained: Calculate your percentage obtained by following the above method. Then multiply it with total marks including all subjects. Then divided the number obtained by 100. Example: If your percentage obtained is 77.9%. Multiply it with total marks. Suppose total marks is 600. So, (77.9) x 600= 46740 Then divide by 100. 46740/100 = 467.40 (Total marks obtained). |

Re: How to convert CGPA system on 10 point scale into marks in numbers?
CGPA stands for Cumulative Grade Point Average. It is a score given based on a scale of Point 10.
Below is the formula used to convert CGPA to percentage. %(Percentage)=((CGPA-0.75)*10) eg if your CGPA is 8.6 the equivalent percentage will be ((8.6-0.75)*10)=78.5% |

CGPA stands for Cumulative Grade Point Average.
In order to calculate the percentage of marks on the basis of CGPA score, all you need to do is to multiply the grade point 9.5 times. CGPA 10= 95% CGPA 09= 85.5% CGPA 08= 76% CGPA 07= 66.5% CGPA 06= 57% CGPA 05= 47.5% CGPA 04= 38% but still is tough to find accurate |

Re: How to convert CGPA system on 10 point scale into marks in numbers?
Dear,
Firstly you have to multiply the GPA by 9.5 after that you will get the marks you have obtained. finally to convert into Percentage you have sum all the marks you have obtained and divide it with total maximum marks in all subject and multiplied by 100 . then you will get the percentage. |

Re: How to convert CGPA system on 10 point scale into marks in numbers?
CGPA stands for Cumulative grade point average .
In order to convert CGPA system on 10 point scale into marks in percentage you should multiply your CGPA marks by 9.5 and the product is your marks in percentage . For example , If anyone secures 9.8 CGPA then his marks in % will be 93.1 % (9.8 * 9.5 ). One of the demerits of this system is that , that no body can secure marks greater than 95% . |

Re: How to convert CGPA system on 10 point scale into marks in numbers?
As per UGC and AICTE guidelines, the procedures for conversion of general CGPA to percentage is : (CGPA-0.75) x 10 = Percentage of Marks. 10-Point CGPA is a different marking scheme.
[For example: The equivalent percentage of marks against CGPA 6.75 is (6.75-0.75) x 10 = 60 %] Since, most of the Universities follow either the 10*CGPA or 9.5*CGPA conversion formula for percentage, anyone must clarify it with the Institute itself prior to giving your initials. |
