This civil service examination is conducted by UPSC every years. for appear in this exam you must have to complete your graduatiom in any stream froma recognized college, The age limit - 21-30.for a general candidates. 21-33 for a OBC candidate 21-35 for SC\ST candidates. thanks!! |

hi,
your eligible for the upsc exams.if your interested apply for the exam. minimum age limits : 21 - 30. The candidate have a graduate degree in any recognized university.Those in the final year students also eligible for the exam.The candidate must have attained 21 years of age on August 1st of the year of examination and must not have attained 30 years of age on that date. The upper age limit will be relaxed by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates. IAS (Indian Administrative Services) is basically for those who are firmly determined for dedication of themselves towards the own country.
If you are so interested for IAS,after being Engineers, Doctors, or Ph.d you can sit IAS exam conducted by UPSC. Application forms will come out in the month of January. According to the new exam pattern of the IAS exam 1) General-Studies paper which carries 150 marks 2) Optional paper which carries 150 marks. Eligibility Criteria :- 1.Educational Qualification:To appear in IAS exam you should have a Graduation degree in any stream from a recognize University. If you are in final year you can also eligible to apply for the examination. 2.Age:The age must be between 21 to 30 years at the time of appearing of this examination. The age relaxation is also applicable for the candidates belong to reservation category. No.Of Attemptes: General Candidates - 4 Attempts OBC Candidates - 7 Attempts SC/ST Candidates - No Limits. |

Dear pal,
for admitting the aspirants to the IAS the exam is conducted by the union public service commission. To apply for the exam one need to be within the age limit given below. 1. The aspirant can apply if they have completed 21 years of age. 2. The maximum age for applying for the exam is 30 for the general category. Bc and mbc aspirant can make application upto a age of 33. Sc and st aspirants can apply upto 35 years of age. Within the age limit the aspirant can apply only for limited times. General category aspirant can make maximum of 4 times. Bc and mbc aspirant can make 7 attempts. But there is no restriction on the number of attempts for sc and st aspirant. You need to have certain educational qualification in order to apply for the exam. The aspirant should have completed bachelor degree from a recognised university. The aspirant could have done degree from any discipline. You can choose your optional subjects from your degree course so study your subjects well and it will surely help you crack the exam. |

You are eligible for UPSC exam only if (i) Age limits : 21-30 years as on 1.7.2011. (Upper age limit relaxable for SCs/STs, OBCs and certain other categories as specified in Para 3(ii) of Notice). (ii) Educational Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree of a recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Enginerring or an equivalent qualification And, yes you are eligible to give UPSC exam.. The procedure to become the IAS is as follows:- You need to first clear the CSAT exam conducted by UPSC. Then the eligibility for giving the IPS exam is as follows:- Between 21-30 years for general category and 21-35 years for SC/ST/OBC. IAS(Indian Administrative Service) exam is conducted by the UPSC once in a year. Age criteria: Age limit is 21years to 30years, 3yrs age relaxation for OBC candidates and 5yrs age relaxation for the SC/ST candidates. So you are in under this age then you are eligible otherwise you arm not eligible to write IAS exam. All the best. |

In order to become a IAS [INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER], you must have to clear the civil service examinations, which is conducted by the UPSC [union public service commission]. The educational requirements for apply in this examination is a graduation degree from the recognized college in any stream.
