i want to prepare for ies 2011 i want to know if the model of the questions(or the same questions) are repeated from previous papers. i have the previous papers of the past 11 yrs (both obj and conv). how should i prepare for this exam. i guess i will not be taking any special coaching..what is the avg cut off to be selected (like its 60% of total marks to be in the top rankers for civils)??

basically read all syllabus clearly after that ,you go through according to syllabus and basic knowledge is cleared.

all subject read and pro-blame solve clearily .

Before one month of exam then solve previous year question paper for better result.

after that go for units you feel difficult,choose easier chapters.
at least go for rest of the units.try to solve as many question paper you can solve.by doing this you will get some idea about the question paper pattern and you will also come to know the time you need to solve the question papers and according to that you can manage your time
