when will lateral entrance examination will conduct for 2011?and what is the syllabus for this exam?

yes you can take admission in 2nd year in MP, there is a reservation of 10% seats for open category students......................but for this you must have score more than 60% in your diploma course in aggregate................

Hi friend,

You can surely take admission in MP Engineering Colleges after completing your Diploma in UP.But you will get less seats because every Engineering College of State reserves some % of seats for the residents of the State which is always above 50%.

But you need not to worry at all because if your % in Diploma is good then you will easily get admission in the College if you are interested.

Eligibility conditions for Lateral entry admissions:

• You must have completed your Diploma course with minimum 60% marks in Engineering from a recognized State Board of Technical Education.
• You must not have any backlog left in Diploma course.
• Your age must not be more than 28 years.

Documents required during Lateral entry admissions:

• 10Th DMC.
• 12Th DMC(If applicable)
• PDC(Provisional Diploma Certificate)
• Character Certificate.
• Migration Certificate.
• Residence Certificate.
• Medical Certificate.
