I want to do MCA from IGNOU,kolkata.Please supply me the details of admission procedure and fee structure for that course.

for admission in IDNOU, you have to get Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Applications/Information Science/ Information Technology from a recognized/deemed University............Admission notification is generally released in May/June and the date for submission of filled-in application forms will be 1 July to September 30 for January session and 1 January to March 31 for July session.

MCA (Master of Computer Application): IGNOU

Eligibility:

Bachelor of Computer Science / Applications / Information Sciences / Information Technology from Recognized / Deemed University.
OR
Other Graduates / Non-Computer Science B.Tech / M.Sc (such applicants are required to pursue CIC concurrently with MCA 1st semester)
OR
Graduates with PGDCA from a Recogniaed / Deemed University or its equivalent course not less than one year from a State Board of Technical Education, or its equivalent body established by the Central / State Government.

Fee structure:
Rs.6100/- per semister + Rs. 700/- for Non-maths students and Rs. 3000/- for CIC, i.e. for non-computer science graduate.

Duration: 3 years (6 semisters)

Admission:
Admission announcements for the MCA programme - May/June.
The last date for submission of filled-in application forms - 15 September.
The academic session starts from 01 January.

MCA from IGNOU is a three years degree program after graduation in any stream.there are two times admissions in IGNOU as for june and jan session. for taking admission there is only Rs 100/- prospectus fee and Rs. 150/- by post.

Fee strucure:
8,100/- for first sem than 8000 from IInd sem. for each sem.
1,000 extra if you dont have maths in 10+2 cause there will be a compalsorily subject as maths included in your mca syllabus.
