Yes why not you can do that. There are lots of colleges that consider direct second year for BSc students. You will have to answer some entrance tests and if you pass the test then you can get a lateral entry into the college

You can persue B.tech Aeronautical Engineering, through Lateral Entry Scheme.

Entrance for Lateral Entry are conducted by diffent states, they are state level competetion.

For example- West bengal conducts JELET for lateral entry scheme into 2nr year of B.tech.You have'nt mentioned the name of your state so that I can help you accordingly.

Besides these various good institutes also offers Direct entry to B.sc graduate with good marks.

Institutes like- Millia Institute of Technology, Calcutta University etc.

You can join regular aeronautical engineering course. some universities offer exemptions from certain subjects, during first year of degree.

You can also join for AMIE degree, conducted by aeronautical society of India, by joining part time or full time course

You can also join Armed forces technical wing and pursue your dreams

Yes, You can have lateral entry into the second year of B.E in aeronautical engineering. Regarding cut off percentage of marks, oit varies from institution to institution. The following colleges accept lateral entry-

To be an aeronautical engineer one should have a graduate degree (B.E/B.Tech.) or at least a diploma in Aeronautics. The degree and postgraduate
degree courses are offered by the engineering colleges
and Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the diploma courses are available at polytechnics.

yes you can go for the aeronautical engineering,but for that you have to apply for the later entry exam conducted by the state level colleges.........

so just apply for the college exam and get into it...........

Dear you can not Enroll for Aeronautical Engineering after your B.sc.

That's because you have persued B.sc (IT), and for Lateral Entry or Direct Admission(offered by few institutes) are meant only for those who have done there B.sc with Maths or Physics or Genral (PCM).

As if now you would enroll through you +2 even then you wont be allowed to do so. That's because for B.Tech you have to Enroll for Entrance like- IITJE,AIEEE, etc. which are not permissible for you.

However, there is a little chance if you can go through State Engineering Entrance.

For Example: West Bengal allows appearing for WBJEE till the age limit of 24 years, no matter weather you are B.sc/M.sc the minimum requirement is +2 with PCM at least 50% aggregate.

Also there is chance if you can complete your M.sc in General or, Physics or Maths then you can enroll for M.tech(Aeronautical Engineering). But I dont think you can opt for Physics or Genaral stream as these requires B.sc (General or Physics) however there is little chance for M.sc MAths if you had opted for Pure Maths at B.sc.

You can enroll for lateral Entry into BE/B.Tech and for that you have to appear for an Entrance conducted by state government and some institutes itself for Lateral Entry Scheme. Through which you will be provided admission into 2nd year of BE.

However, few institute are there which also provides direct admission based on B.sc performance specially for those with Mathematics or Pysics honours.

For example- Calcutta University, MIT Purnia etc.

Well, if you have B.sc honours in Mathematics, Physics then only you can expect so. And no Direct admission you have to go through Entrance exams which are meant for Lateral Entry.

Howeve, you can get Direct admission into 1st year of Aerospace Engineering.

Various Institutes has this type of facility, like- Pailan College of Management and Technologhy(http://www.pcmt-india.net/). Degree will be awarded from IGNOU.

Similarly for Aeronautical Engineering you can opt for such college which offers degree from Universities like- IGNOU.

its a very good career option with the booming aviation sector.You can try for institute for aeronautics ,dehradun which is a well eputed colege and you will get admission in direct 2nd year of the degree course

There are many colleges which provide lateral entry in 2nd year in engineering, u may join these colleges. Otherwise many colleges takes addmission entrence test on the basis of graduation degree, you just qualify the test u got the addmission.

Of course you can take admission in Aeronautical Engineering. As you are completed your bachelor degree you will get admission in second year(3rd semester).
You can get admission through lateral entry procedure or management quota.
So just choose a good college/university and take admission as possible.

No.......! M.Tech can not be done after B.sc.

For persuing M.Tech first you have to persue M.sc (Mathematics, Physics) then you have to crack GATE. Eligibility is such that candidate must have 60% aggregate in B.Tech/B.E./M.sc/Senior Certificate of AMIE. One more thing candidate must have studied +2, Candidates with Diploma engineering without studing +2 are not eligible.

GATE: Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, is a national level conpetetion each year conducted IIT's in collaboration with IISC, Banglore for admission into M.Tech programmes in all IIT and IISC and NAtional and State University it is also accepted by more or less Every Institute in India.

If you are not crossed your age 23yrs then you can apply for aeronautical engg through entrance test.Listed colleges are conducting admission tests for admission.

after B.Sc you have to option to enter into aeronautical engineering.

1) lateral entry- after B.Sc you may take admission in aeronautical engineering through lateral entry scheme. for this you have to appear in lateral entry entrance examination. there are lateral entry examination for every state. if you can crack this examination with a good position then you will be able to choose a good college and you will be directly admitted to second year of aeronautical engineering.

2) engineering entrance examination- another way to take admission in aeronautical engineering is you have to appear in engineering entrance examination. like a student appear after class 12 you have to appear in entrance examination of engineering like AIEEE, WBJEE, IIT JEE and other state based engineering entrance examination. if you can secure a good rank then you will be able take admission.

also another way to take admission is management quota. but in this quota you have to pay money for admission. i think it is better to take admission through lateral entry after giving entrance examination.

You cannot apply for M.tech after completing your B.sc in Mathematics because
for M.tech you have a master degree. But you can definately go for B.Tech in Aerospace after Bsc Mathematics. The course of B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering
is of four years and these are some good colleges to pursue this course. So please

You can join B.Tech or B.E Aeronautical Engineering. There are different entrance exam for joining engineering courses. As a B.Sc student you can also join engineering course through lateral entry process. For this you need to have more than 60 % of marks.
