Yes you can definately apply for Airman in Group y. The eligiblity is that you must be 12th passed in Arts,Science or Commerce stream with minimum 50%.

Since you have got 55% you are eligible for it

The forms may release at the end of April or May 1st week and last date of applications is normally 2nd week of june

yes you are eligible for airforce "y" group examination. you can fill the form examination. in june-july the form is come out and in april-may the examination is taken. please read the employment news regularly. i wish you get a required answer of your question.. thanking you..

sir i m baba jhalela . I failed 2 times in 10 class. And them passed it with 33.1:/: and in 12th also i failed once and passed it with 35.6 perc.. I dont know english my height is 96 cm i m a bauna . I m physically handicapped . I cant see with my 1 eye . I cant run . Can i join iaf am i eligible .

AGE AND EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION CRITERIA


Technical trade

(a) Group 'X' - 17 - 22 Years
Candidates should have passed Intermediate/ 10+2 with pass marks in Mathematics and Physics with a minimum of 50% marks in overall aggregate.

OR

Should have passed a 3 year Diploma course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) with at least 50% marks from a Govt. recognized Polytechnic Institute.

Technical Trades

(b) Group 'Y' - 17 -22 Years
Candidates should have passed Intermediate/ 10+2 with science, arts, commerce subjects or equivalent vocational courses with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Vocational courses conducted by CBSE and Kerala Board recognised by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) only are eligible. All Group 'Y' Trades (Except Musician Trade)

Musician Trade

(c) Group 'Y' - 17-25 Years
Passed Matriculation/ 10th class passed or equivalent with minimum pass marks from any Govt recognized school/Boards, should be between 17-25 years of age and should be proficient in playing at least one musical instrument of the following:

Trumpet /Bass/ Violin/ Saxophone/ Clarinet/ Euphonium /Jass-Drum/ Piccolo/Bass Trombone/ Key Board/ Guitar/ Sarod/ Viola/ Cello/ Contra Bass (String Bass).
