Sir, i am a 11th class student and my date of birth is 13-feb 1997 am i eligible for NDA entrance test held in 2013

no dear , you are not eligible for the NDA exam as you are only in 11th at the moment.
you need to be in 12th to be eligible.
and you can also appear for the exam after 12th.
the age limit for the exam is 16.5-19 years.

Yes you can write the National defence services exam in the 11th class as at the last of the 11th class means around December and january their are forms available for the exam.

And exam conducts in the month of april and while giving it your will be in the 12th class so you can write the exam no doubt if you want and you are fully eligible for it.

But you also need to full fill the age limits for this exam also as the age limit for the exam is between 16.5 years to the 19 years.

The Candidate should be a citizen of India and also for the exam only the male candidates are allowed.

For the exam also the unmarried candidates are allowed as married candidates are not allowed for this exam

You are not eligible to apply for NDA exam at this stage of study.

You will only be able to appear for National Defense Academy after qualifying 12th board exam. So, prepare from now because NDA is tough exam and you must work hard to crack this exam.

After completing the 12th class you can apply for the NDA entrance examination. The NDA examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) twice in every year for the selection of candidates in the different wing of the NDA. Here i give you the details eligibility criteria for the NDA entrance examination.

Eligibility Criteria for NDA Examination. :
-->You need pass 12th class from a recognize board/University. 12th board exam appearing student can also apply for the NDA entrance examination.

NDA stands for the National Defense Academy !!

Its basically an Entrance exam conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year but two times : April and August. A candidate can apply for both if meets eligibility Criteria's. This is to select candidates for the three wings of Indian Defense namely Army, Navy and Air Force.

Basic Eligibility Criteria to meet before you can sit for the NDA Entrance Exam would be as follows :-

1. Only Unmarried Male Indians
2. Age within the range of 16.5 to 19 years. So this year you would only complete 16 years on 13th Feb. After which you can apply for all the upcoming NDA Entrances and Exams.
3. Minimum 12th pass from the recognized college or University by Central Government
4. Science students can take any from the 3 wings, but Arts and Commerce can apply for Army only.
5. Physical and Mental fitness is a must.

After checking these, you have to apply ONLINE Whenever the notification for the same is put out. You have to wait for that.

The age eligibility criteria (16 years to 19 years ) will be fulfilled when exam will be done i.e on 14th April,2013 but for NDA you need to pass 12th standard from recognized board/university. students who are appearing in 12th board exam can apply for the NDA entrance exam so you will have to wait till you are in 12th standard for the next batch.

Eligibility For NDA 2013

National Defence Academy(NDA) Exam is conducted every year in the months of April and August by the UPSC for selections to the following wings :-

Sorry to say but there is no entry for student to get into indian army after class 11th.
The soldier entry is held after class 10th not officers so i advice you to complete 12th
and then you have two entries:-
->NDA
-16.5 to 19 years of age.
-national defense academy.
->TES
-above 70% in pcm.
-technical entry scheme.

2. 12th class pass is a must

Now if you look at the point number 2 then it is clearly mentioned that 12th class pass candidate are only eligible and you in your question wrote that you are in 11th class so as of now you are not eligible for the exam but in future you will be eligible so start preparing for the exam as the exam is very tough nut to crack.
