Sir, I have passed 10th in the year 2013 with 8.4 CGPA and completed my 12th in the year 2016(62% BSEB). Now I want to do diploma course in automobile engineering. Which is the better option for me, whether to do diploma at 10th level(3 year) or to do it at 12th level(2 year)?

Diploma is better option than 12 after 10th we can get jobs early while we join Diploma this will help for poor people and they can get more subject in small age and they can create anything and if interested they can also study in engineering like lateral entry directly to the 2 year and can get more good job and ECE, CSE are the good branches all branches are nice but these two are better than all.

You should go for the diploma course on the basis of your 12th standard. You will get direct admission in second year of diploma course by Lateral Entry scheme. For getting admission in best diploma institute, you have to score more than 60% marks in your LEET exam.

The employment scope is very limited after diploma. All good companies prefer engineering graduates. Even people with years of job experience finds it difficult to get a job that meets their standards. Since you have completed 12th with quite good marks therefore I would suggest you to go for a B.Tech in automobile engineering.

To pursue B.Tech in automobile engineering one needs to complete 10+2 with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and biology.

Obviously, Do it at 12th level i.e. for 2 years.
Later after 1 or two years of service, you can go for B.tech for getting promotions in your job.

The other option is directly do the b.tech
This way you will save two years.
Because Diploma(after 12th)+B.tech = 2+4 years
and directly B.tech = 4 years.

Also, B.tech have more opportunities than diploma.
And, B.tech would definitely be necessary for you at a later stage because as you would want to go up the ladder in the company, you would require a graduation degree and then also, you will definitely have to pursue your b.tech.

Also the subjects you can choose if you want to do diploma are

-Electrical
-Mechanical or
-Civil

All these three have great scope in government an private industries.
