Hi,

NDA exam is conductedf by UPSC to join Indian Defence after class 12th.

An unmarried male candidate who is 12th pass and is aged between 16.5 years to 19 years, can apply for NDA exam.

The exam is conducted in two stages-

Written exam

Interview / Physical examination.

NDA(National Defence Academy), this exam should be held twice in a year and it is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission).


Eligibility criteria:-

The applicant must have to complete 12th standard or it's equivalent from a recognised board or university.

No need of Percentage restrictions to apply this exam.

Applicant must be a citizen of India.

The age limits of the candidate should be in between 16.5 years to 19 years.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible, i.e girls are not eligible.


Selection process:-

Written exam,

SSB interview,

Medical test.

NDA stands for National Defense Academy

This exam is conducted by UPSC twice in Year in Month of June and December called NDA-II and NDA-I......

If you have completed 12th std from recognized Board then you are eligible for National Defense Academy exam , final years students also eligible for this exam , No need of Percentage restrictions to apply this exam.

Age of candidate should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years , Only Unmarried Male are eligible for it , girls are not eligible for this exam....
