i have completed three years diploma in electrical & electronics. Can I write NDA exams and what is age limit ?

For appearing in NDA you must have completed 12th or equivalent from any recognized board. since you have completed 3 years diploma after 10 .it means you have required degree .so, you are eligible as far as education qualification is concerned.

As to appear in the NDA exam, the candidate must be in between the age limit of 16½ to 19 years. The candidate must also be Unmarried male candidates. The education qualification requirement is to have a 12th pass for the army wing and a 12th pass with physics and math subject for air force and navy.

Age limit for NDA is 17 to 19.5 years.If you have not crossed then you are eligible to appear for NDA.

FOR NDA = you have to be 16 half to 19 half years of age and must have passed 12 or appearing for final results.

If you are under this age than you can apply for NDA as education qualification for NDA is 12th or equivalent from any recognized board.and Diploma also consider for it!!

Diploma is equvalent to 10+2 exam So you are eligible for it.

National Defense Academy Examination

Educational Qualification:
(i) For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at the Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.

Age Limits: 16 ½ – 19 years

• 12th standard with maths,physics and chemistry as compulsory subjects
• Age should be between 17 to 21 years
• Indian citizenship card holder

As you will not have maths subject in diploma,you are not eligible.

No, you are not eligible to appear for the NDA exam
after completion of 3 year diploma course.

The NDA exam is conducted by the UPSC.
According to the guidelines, the minimum eligibility conditions
for appearing for the UPSC exam is as follows:

Educational Qualifications:

Candidate must have passed 10+2.
Candidates appearing for the 10+2 exams may also apply.
Candidates applying for the Navy and Air Force, physics and maths is necessary.

So as you have not passed 10+2, therefore you are not eligible for NDA.


Age Limit:

Candidate must have achieved minimum 16.5 years of age.
Upper age limit is 19 years.

Dear,

The minimum educational qualification required for the NDA exam is 10+2 pass candidates with physics , chemistry , maths or an equivalent examination with at least 55-60% marks.
Since , you have done diploma in Electrical and Electronics then you are eligible for it as far as educational qualification is concerned.

Age limitation is between 16.5 - 19 years where a problem may arise.

Apart for that , one more important thing that only unmarried male candidates can apply for it.

Minimum height should be 157 cm with 5 cm chest expansion.

Eyesight should be 6/6 of both the eyes.

HI,
For applying in N.D.A diploma is not required. If you pass 12th and your age is in between 16.5-19 year then you are eligible.

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

After qualifying this exam you will get commission in defence sector like:-
>> Indian Army
>> Indian Air force
>> Indian Navy

Eligibility criteria for N.D.A:-
> Pass 12th with any subject from recognized university
> Age limit:-16.5-19 year
> Medically fit

There are 3 steps of selection:-
-Written exam.
-Interview
-medical exam.
