Hai,sir/madame.I am Raksha from class 9th,studying in Tumkur,a city in karnataka,India.I love my country and I want to serve her in one or the other way.I have thought of joining the INDIAN AIR FORCE.But being a girl,can I become a fighter pilot in the indian air force?Please answer me soon.

Yes you can surely join Air Force(12th) with Non Medical.
You will have to appear for an entrance exam conducted by UPSC twice a year.

The exam is commonly known as NDA.
NDA stands for National Defence Academy.

Here below I am providing you with some details about NDA exam.

Required Qualification:

You should be 12th passed with PCM as compulsory subjects.

Age criteria:

Age should be between 161/2 to 19 years.
Here you do not have any age relaxation in any case.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:-

A written exam will be conducted.
The exam pattern is given below:

The exam comprises of 2 papers. Both these papers will be of the objective type.
The first paper is Mathematics
The second paper is General Ability Test

*** If you qualify the written exam you will called for SSB.

*** After clearing SSB you will go under medical fitness test.

Also you can join Air Force through Technical entry Scheme.

There is no written exam in this.
You are directly called for SSB if you secured 75% in PCM in 12th board

First of all i must tell you that Girls are not eligible for NDA exam if they want to join defence.

Girls can join defence only after completing graduation . For NDA exam only unmarried males are eligible.

To become a fighter pilot you must be from physics and mathematics field.

If you have not studied physics and mathematics then you are not eligible for Indian Air force flying branch.

You have to pass 10+2 with physics and mathematics then only you will be eligible for Indian Air force.

There are three ways through which you can become fighter pilot in air force.

-NDA examination ( for boys only) after 10+2 with Physics and Maths.

-CDS examination after Graduation in Engineering or Maths or Physics.

-AFCAT after Graduation in Engineering or Maths or Physics.

As you are a girls hence you have to complete your Graduation with Engineering or Maths or Physics then only you can apply for CDS and AFCAT Flying Branch.

The selection in flying branch will be based on various tests which will test your aptitude whether you are fit for pilot job or not.

There is a test called PABT ( Pilot Aptitude Battery Test) which is essential to pass if you want to become a fighter pilot.

You eyesight must be 6/6 if you want to become a fighter pilot.

So you can concentrate on you studies now and focus on completing your graduation with the required subjects.

YES, you can apply for Indian Airforce

You can apply for the NDA Exams
NDA exams are conducted by UPSC two times in a year

Next NDA exams will be held on 11th August 2013
Last date to apply is 3rd June 2013

Eligibilty to apply is:

Education:
Indian Airforce and Indian Navy Wing- 12th class or Intermediate Pass.In class 12th you should have studied the subjects Physics and Maths.
Indian Army- 12th class or Intermediate Pass in any stream


Age- Minimum 16.5 years
Maximum 19 years
No age relaxations is given to any candidates who apply for the NDA exams

If you got selected as a piolt in iaf then the basic rank you will get is "Flying Officer".
And as per your Achievements and Experience your rank will be increased.

If you are interested to join PILOT post in INDIAN AIRFORCE then you should know the eligibilty criteria to join INDIAN AIR-FORCE is as below--->>>

Age :16 ½ to 19 years

Nationality:Indian

Marital Status: Unmarried

Gender:No vaccancy for Girls.

The Selection Procedure involves :

1.Written Test
2.SSB interview

Papers of the written tests are:

Mathematics of 300 marks
General ability of 600 marks

If you clears all the above paper then you will be called for the SSB interview in the airforce camp.
Once you crack the SSB interview you will be selected as a pilot in AIRforce.

Raksha , you are a girl child and have the inspiration to become a fighter pilot in India because you love your country.

According to your statement you are doing class ix, at this moment you can not do NDA(National Defence Academy)entrance exam.and you must know NDA is for male student only.

To fulfil your ambition there is way to become a fighter Pilot through CDS entrance examination.This entrance examination is conducted by UPSC every year.For this purpose
you have to complete your 12th havingPCM(physics/chemistry/mathematics)subjects.
Next you have to complete your Graduate degree as early as possible to join IAF UPSC CDS(combined defence services)entrance examination.

CDS Air Force Eligibility:-

1.A Graduate or a final year candidate can write CDS entrance examination.
2.AGE:To become fighter Pilot your age should be within 19 years to 23 years.
3.Marital Status: Single.
4.Male/Female both can try for CDS IAF entrance exam.
5.Nationality: Single.

Yes, you can Eligible for join in India Air force.
In Army forces Gender boarders are not there.
But you can apply after your graduation only.
For jumping in to these you must prepare physics and maths subjects and than get a job in this sector. You are a girl so you must be applying after graduation and you must be preparing well. You first complete graduation and then give AFCAT examination

Eligibility criteria :-

Minimum qualification is graduation for girls .

Minimum age limit is 19 to 24 years.

You must be Indian Citizenship.

You must be good marks in graduation.
And must be Unmarried
Must be physically fit
