Economics as a field has emerged and is now carrying a plethora of opportunities.
After completing your BA (eco), my suggestion would be to go for MA (eco) and then go for professional degree (MBA).it is said because doing a masters degree in one subject and then ging for a MBA you make you more preferable for getting a good job.

Yes, you can do MBA after doing B.A. in Economics.

MBA- Master of Business Administration, is a two years regular Post Graduation course and can be pursed after Graduation in any stream of education.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having completed Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognised University with at least 50% marks or without percentage criteria from a recognised University, is eligible to apply for MBA. There is no upper age bar for application to MBA.

Most reputed Institutions conduct entrance exam like CAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT etc. for admission to MBA courses.

Yes, definitely you can do MBA course after completing the B.A course. Nice to see your interest in the field of the business management course. MBA is stand for Master of Business Administrative. To get admission in MBA course you need to be a bachelor degree holder.
As you mentioned, after doing B.A.- Economics you can apply for MBA course but eligibility criteria varies from institute to institute- in some its required to have 50% in graduation and in other work experience. To get admission in orotund institutes offering MBA Course you need to appear for exams like- CAT, MAT, XAT etc. and score well.

For MBA you have to give certain entrance exams like CAT,MAT,SNAP, XAT based on them you will get admission in B-school.
