sir, I have backlog in 7th sem and I will get final result till September hopefully I will clear my all back log and final exam. I have got the admission in iit Bombay on the basis of gate. Generally in iits it is allowed to take admission and submit final result till sept. 31 for a student not having backlog, can I will be be allowed to take admission because I will submit my result on same day

Dear one i thik if you are clear and you have no backlog then no problem but if back is not clear then your chance is very low but hopeffuly their will be no back logs

I am confused when you say you got admission to IIT Mumbai, does that mean interview is over or do you mean you got call letter from IIT. Usually at the time of interview they will check for these things like back logs etc. Need more clear question to be able to suggest anything.

If you have clear your backlogs, then you can apply for M.tech and if your backlogs
in not clear, then you are not eligible to apply for M.tech.

ya if you are sure that you will clear all the backlogs in this attempt means you can go for it .. but if you dont clear in this attempt means you 'll be under problem ..

Look dear, just chill and relax. In the very beginning i would say clear all your backlogs as soon as possible because you might be having less potentiality for getting into IIT bombay, and another thing if you have done very good in GATE and other corresponding (like interview) very well and mind blowing, then there is a chance to get into it.So, first of all clear your all backlogs as soon as possible by any mean, because why take risk, and perform very well in the the corresponding.

I think you will be able to clear all your backlogs and lets hope for the best.

if you r confident that you will clear those backlogs by the time you submit your cetificates,then you may get admitted.but be sure about your result.

Higher studies are always a better option....that too in IIT means not a joke....so don't miss the chance and clear your backlog with some more hard work .....wish you all the best for your exam and future.....

If you are sure that all backlog papers will clear till september 31 then i guess you shouldnt have any problem but if not then the chances are very low...BEST OF LUCK for your future...

dont worry !!!
if you wouldn't have been able to clear your all baglogs than your admission to iit's is banished as it is clearly written on iit website than only those candidates who has no baglogs in their record will able to get admission and shud also qualify the admission test with some minimum % required known as cutoff ....
just try to clear than in the finals and hope for the best .....

yes, you can gate give two years the exam,after passing out you can give.
one as a appearing candidate,plus one year after.

After 12th class i did clear the iit exam then i do b.tech from aieee. Now i want to do m.tech from iit,can i do. If I can do then what are percentage marks required in b.tech and what is the age limit for m.tech and I have no backlogs.

Its very difficult to get IIT in Mumbai. If you have not cleared backlogs you cannot apply . If you have cleared you can.

Dear friend
For MTech admission you just need to have graduation degree ie Btech in the same field from a Govt Of India recognized university.
If you have left the paper and you want to do the MTech in the field related to that paper then you might be troubled otherwise there won't be any problem.

If you are confident that you will clear your backlogs then you are eligible to take admission in MTech course of IIT, Bombay.

Regarding the last date for submission of results it will better to contact the concerned authorities of IIT, Bombay & clear your doubts to avoid last minute confusion.

see, if you are confidance about your self then you can do Mtech after Btech.

but remember if you can clear your backlogs then you will be eligiable to do mtech.

otherwise you must try for the next time.

No, you can not do M.tech, if you have a backlog.
So clear your backlog first, then you are eligible to get admission
in m.tech, other wise you will not get admission in M.tech...

you can do m.tech even if you have backlog.because eligibility criteria for appearing in m.tech course is you must have b.tech degree.

NO you can't do M.Tech if you have backlog .
First you have to clear you backlog and
then after you will be able to do M.Tech.
To get admission for M.Tech from good college you have to get good percentile of marks in GATE exam.

otherwise there is no possibility to get admission in IIT... because they want complete result without any backlogs...

so, if your final result have no backlogs, then there will be no problem for u ...

It is the clear fact that ; eligibility for getting admission

in M.Tech is B.tech. Clearly you have not B.tech degree;

as you have backlog; So you are not eligible for getting

admission in M.Tech.

as per my knowledge u can not do m.tech if u have any bacllogs in ur b.tech carrier.so to sit in m.tech related entry exam like gate ,first of all u have to clear ur back logs.for more information u can visit gate web site like www.gate forroum.net.
or u may follow gate exam related magazine from where u can get ur information.
so take decission & make ur bright future.

Is you have done your MTech from any IIT's then that should be OK. Hiring at postgraduate level companies prefer to see the performance and ranking in your MTech

If you have percentage above the percentage fixed as eligibility, it is enough.

Backlogs doesn't matter if you have percentage above the eligible percentage.

Yes you can go for M.Tech though you have backlogs if you satisfy the eligible percentage to get admission.Most likely the eligibility is 60%

you will get admission in mtech only after clearing your backlogs. and if you submitted your result before the last date of admission then only you will get admission

Once you have completed all your backlogs in your btech,then only you are eligible to appear for mtech

until that you are not at all eligible

look dear if your backlogs will be cleared than there is no problem due to previous backlogs they will not consider it but if suppose backlogs will be not cleared till submission date than admission will be liable to be canceled.

first of all congrats that you have did exceptionally well in GATE

and coming to your question at the time of interview you'll be asked for your degree or marks sheets of all the years so at that time you can take the permission of iit that you'll going to submit them in so and so time so that they will agree with a recomendation letter of a good phd professor of any university so by this you can get an admission in iit

your mark list will not come at that time.just take tc in college and join after completing you are backlogs.

If you had clear all your backlogs before joining then no one can deny your admission!!!
be sure you clear all your backlogs before admission and should have a proper proof for the same!!!!

Your GATE score is valid for two consecutive years but once you did get admission on

the basis of that score, you are not eligible to use that score again.

If you want admission MTech program you will have to appear GATE again.

On the submission date if you do not have any back logs remaining you can get admission.Is you clear all the backlogs you can apply any where you are interested in.But see that you will have to submit before the last day of submission with all your reaults.
