IGNOU is one of the renowned Open Universities of the country and is well recognized as well. A student is eligible to write the UGC NET exam after completion of a Master course with an aggregate of 55% in the same.

Yes, after completion of M.A from IGNOU, you can apply for UGC NET exam because IGNOU is recognized UGC.

Those candidates who have completed post graduation degree from a recognized university with above 55% marks are eligible for UGC NET exam.

Age criteria for UGC NET exam:-

For JRF Post :-Your age should be below 28 years.

For Lectureship Post :-There is no age criteria.
