Re: Can I study medicine in NDA?
Dear friend,
NDA is not meant for Medical . In defence for medical there is only one exam that is AFMC or you can do first MBBS from civil and then apply for Armed forces. ALL THE BEST!!!!!!!! |

Re: Can I study medicine in NDA?
no NDA is different field from technical subjects like medicine and engineering...
since nda is just after 12th class and mostly students are prepared for non-technical field if you want to do medical for armed force then go for AFMC AND ACDS for MBBS and BDS courses..which are only institute of Indian army where student get recruited to armed force after completion of graduation....... |

Re: Can I study medicine in NDA?
Sorry, the date of application for the NDA has crossed. But you might apply next year in the medical stream, if you had the PCB stream in the Class 12 exam (SSCE) and have passed all subjects with more than 55% marks (50% for reserved categories.) You can get information about other eligibility criteria from the website nda.nic.in . Good luck

Re: Can I study medicine in NDA?
N.D.A means national defense academy.
this exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year. It is not about medicine or any other technical study. The study of N.D.A. is all about defense. to study N.D.A you must have qualified +2 with fair % of marks for more details visit www.upsc.gov.in |

Re: Can I study medicine in NDA?
There is no MBBS course provided by National Defence Academy or NDA. If you wish to pursue MBBS from an Army Institute and serve in the army, you can fill the form for AFMC Pune or Armed Forces Medical College, Pune. Admission in AFMC, Pune is done on the baisis of your NEET scores only.

Re: Can I study medicine in NDA?
Yes. A medical student can appear for NDA exam but the written exam consists of 2 sections i.e. Maths and GS. It's difficult for a medical student to pass the maths exam unless he has studied mathematics in 11th and 12th. But with practice it's easy to pass because cutoff marks are not very high.

Re: Can I study medicine in NDA?
As per the course policy the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) does not offer Medicine and Surgery as a course, but you can still find medical schools in Nigeria sponsored by the NDA, but it is rare and very limited. Therefore the normal way of recruiting medical doctors into the Nigerian Army is through short service .
