Can an Indian Army officer join IAS without requisite qualification?

I wish to join the army. But after five years of service in the army, can an indian army officer join the IAS with the requisite qualification?

no..ias and army are completely different...but army can join ips via ldc exam conducted by upsc...check upsc website for necessary details
