hi i have completed my tenth and want to do diploma in hotel management plz reply that can i do it after tenth or which are htel management course after tenth

Yes, you can do Diploma after 10th, but there is a limitation.

You will not get the chances everywhere in India. Sometimes some organizations give special offers to do a course of craftsman in food and beverages after 10th, but most of the institutes offer a diploma course after 12th.

A diploma in hotel management will be of 1 and half year duration.

And the fee structure will be around 15,000/-.

So I would suggest you that instead of doing a Diploma after 10th (which is also not a proper diploma course, it a craftsman course), you should complete your 12th first.

Then you can do diploma or bachelors in hotel management.

So it is best to complete your 12th at least.

There is good opportunity prevails in Hotel Management course . You may apply for 3 Years Diploma course . If your interested to apply for three years three years Diploma in Hotel Management course then first complete your 12th standard .

If you want to go for a proper diploma course in hotel management then this is the eligibility criteria:-

Minimum qualification required to go for a course in hotel management is 10+2. For certificate, diploma and bachelors courses 10+2 is sufficient. Duration of certificate courses is six months to one year. Bachelor and diploma courses are of duration one and half to three years. Those with graduation can go for post graduate diploma courses the duration of which is one year.

So i would suggest its better to go for this course after completing your class 12 board exam. Then you can even apply for a full time course. Lots of options will be available then. Take your decisions properly. Best of luck.

YES, you can apply for the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance test for the Hotel Management Course.

The Test will be held on 27th April 2013

Educational Qualifications: 12th Pass
English should be one of the subjects in class 12th

Last date to apply is 15th April 2013

AGE- Max age to apply for the General and OBC candidates is 22 years
Only Candidates born on and after 1st July 1991 can apply

Yes you can do Diploma in Hotel Management after 10th class but you have to apply for the entrance exam and get a good rank in it to get a reputed college.

PUSA and IGNOU conducts entrance examination every year for Diploma and Degree course in Hotel Management courses in Indian Institute of Hotel Managements in India.

There are many IHM in India and these are the top colleges for doing Hotel management courses .

So you can apply for this entrance exam if you want to do Diploma in Hotel Management.
The admission will be on the basis of rank in the exam.

There are private colleges also available for doing this course and they also conduct their own exam for admission. Hence you can apply for them also if you want to do from a specific college.

There are many 5 star hotels in India which offer jobs to Hotel Management students. But you have to do your course from a good college if you want to get a good job.

no it is not necessary to do b.com or BBA or anything else. you can do hotel management then something else. or just hotel management i am studying hotel management and i did not study anything else. cheers
