Biotechnology is nothing but an intrusion of technology and researches in biology for applications into health and medicine, agriculture, animal husbandry, bio statistics, plant physiology etc.
This is concerned with development of medicine, vaccines, animal husbandry, fertilizers etc.
The research works of this field is increasing day by day, assuring a good career in this field.
As it is a research oriented field so if you want to grow in this field to a very high level you should either try to get admission in top level colleges.
Its not important only from the job point point of view but is important because you will world class laboratory facility and chances of doing projects in foreign country too.
