The recruitment for the post of drug inspector is based on the written examination which is conducted. This is mainly conducted by the UPSC. The minimum eligibility for the drug inspector exam is a graduation in Pharmacy. A minimum of 3 years experience in the drug manufacturing is essential. You should also have specialized in the area of Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology. Based on the performance in the written exam you will be selected. You can apply online through the official website.

just i saw a news from dinamalar (tamil) is recruitment of drug inspector from the central government preventing of drug department. But there is no any other information, How to apply? and where did buy application form this recruitment?

Dear friend,

Yes, B.Phram student are eligible for DRUG INSPECTOR EXAM.

Drug Inspector exams are conducted by mostly by all state government for their states.

The eligibility criteria for this exam is given below.

You must have completed degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a recognized University or equivalent.

Also you have 3 years' experience in the manufacture or testing of Biological .

Your age must be above 18 years.Your maximum age must be below 32 years.

The recruitments for Drug Inspector/ Assistant drug inspector is done by SSC.

SSC - Staff Selection commission

Eligibility for Drug Inspector-

Candidate should have -

Degree in Pharmacy OR

Degree in medicine with clinical pharmacology OR

Degree in medicine with microbiology.

Candidate's age should be between 18 - 30 years.
