I am final year engineering student in EC. My aggregate is 80% with 70% n above in all sems.
i just wanted to know which all government job exams to be held in upcoming year?

there are so many government job for electronics and communication engineering students and each year there are so many examination conducted by the government sector to recruit students.

some popular government sector which recruit Electronics and communication engineer through examination each year are
BSNL JTO
BHEL Supervisor trainee
SAIL
ISRO
Indian Railway etc etc.

so you may try for them although the competition is very tough.

I thik Indian air force is ao a tour of different engineering colleges for recruitment so u can prepare for it as apart from technical they also judge ur Gd skills, GK and IQ.......................................

register in the freshersworld or times job...you will get the information about the upcoming jobs in ur mail...

1) INDIAN OIL (PSU) through gate 2011
2) IES
3) ICS

Now a days lots of recruitments are coming from PSUs. since you are from an engineering background i wii suggest you to see jobs relating to your field. You can see for jobs in banks as specialist officers, BSNL JTO (it alwaysasks for BCA & B.TECH.holders) etc and the PSUs related to your field.

There are many government jobs held every year.
As you are ECE student you have more government jobs, to join those jobs you will have to write few entrance exams.Jobs in electronics and communications side are more in government companies.There are few jobs for ECE check it out:

your branch is good,

and i must say every exam whatever held in this year will be the exams of next year.
there will not be any difference in syllabus but can't say about the pattern,
it may be tougher or easier.
but still these are the list
AAI(AIR PORT AUTHORITY OF INDIA), BHEL , BSNL, RRB, DRDO , ISRO , ECIL etc.

MPSC exam is going to be conducted on 13 feb 2011..Online applications are allowed on site mpsconline.gov.in upto 10th of Jan for State Services..U can apply if u are in final year.
