In order to become a Regional Transport Officer, you should appear and qualify in RTO exam conducted by Public Service Commission in specific states. You have not mentioned any information about your educational qualifications. RTO exam is mainly conducted for 3 main posts. You can apply for clerical post after 12th class. Graduates in engineering can apply for RTO Assistant Engineer post. LLB graduates can apply for RTO Judicial Post. You should also be proficient in the local language of the particular state from which you are applying. Those candidates who get through written test should appear for personal interview also.
